@ Shyams... I agree with your viewpoint that Rathore also needs psychiatric treatment.. There seems to be some dark secret in his past and his over-dripping sugary sweetness is only superficial and is a mask to something more sinister.
His strange behaviour like
1)the unbelievable teddy bear hugging and photo gazing, all the while dreaming for a happy family with the photo of a baby,
2)promising to turn a new leaf for the sake of this baby, but still assisting S & S in their revenge plans,
3)letting Tapasya live her lie in the Bundela house full term, not exposing that the kid is his till the baby was born,
4)once expressing that she has not seen his other side, in a veiled threat,
5)getting Veer out of jail not out of good heart, but to corner Tapasya into marrying him,
6) later accepting Tapasya sans her kid and pampering her,
7) trashing the thief who left his baby after using it for escaping from police, but forgiving the woman who left the baby so irresponsibly with a stranger and also who used the baby like a tool to enter the Bhouse with fake claims, and also to send him away when he came with Barat,
8)now acting goody goody with all and asking for Mai's forgiveness brazenly, when he himself helped the culprits Sathya & Sanchi who were ruining her Bundela family and sending her son Veer to jail on false rape charges,
9) booking a seat for admission in a school for a yet to be conceived baby and talking obsessively of babies and bringing gifts in anticipation, (which usually is not done, as it is considered to be inauspicious and does not bode well)
all these make me wonder if there is going to be a serious twist like he is a dreaded psychopath who drove his wife to her death and is acting as though he is the loving family man longing for a nice family and child. Tapasya, who used to manipulate people and ruin their lives without caring may now realize what it feels like to be the victim in the hands of Rathore, an equally or more ruthless character.. When he realizes that she cannot give him a child, his wild perverted side may surface and he may start taunting and torturing her, just like Vansh used to torture Ichcha. That would be a fitting punishment for her so that she would realize how Ichcha might have suffered at that time and how Vansh might have felt when she taunted and instigated him to suicide and repent for her act of trying to kill Ichcha and as a result, reap the fruit of being childless now, which is the punishment given by Providence.
