Filming Rumours
- Filming will take place in the UK, presumably in Glencoe, Alnwick, Gloucester, and Oxford where filming for the past four movies has taken place. Apparently, Scotland's weather this year isn't snowy enough for the glorious magical backdrop of Hogwarts. This has led to further information regarding the fifth film being filmed overseas - which may be the case: it is rumoured that Scandinavia may soon be the replaced location Producer David Heyman is considering doing some filming outside the UK. [44]
- Director David Yates is hoping to film a sequence (Wizard Chase) on the River Thames and through the London Suburbs.[45]
- Recent rumors have stated that filming has taken place at Butler's Wharf, near Tower Bridge in London, which would agree with Yates' above statement.[46]
