Hema gets her car back
The actress' damaged car was under repair since last July

Hema Malini heaved a sigh of relief yesterday when her blue Mercedes Benz was returned to her after nearly a year. The car was completely spoiled during the deluge last year and was under repair since then. "I am glad that I am going to have my car back once again," says Hema. The actress brought this car four years ago, when she was shooting for her serial Jai Mata Ki. "I love my car and wanted the job done well without haste. There are nearly 300 more cars still to be repaired and I feel lucky to get my car back." she says.
Hema Malini had parked her prized possession in her Juhu bungalow where it got damaged due to excessive water. "It was in a mess. The car emitted a foul odour and I couldn't even enter it. Spare parts are not readily available so I had to wait," she says. So, when does she plan to resume using her car? "No, first I will do aarti of my car," she says.
