As lead actors get younger, their parents on screen get younger too- especially onscreen moms who are getting younger by the day. With mostly fresh faces seen on television these days, the actors playing parents carry more weight as they are not just experienced actors but also familiar faces on television. Nausheen's most popular show has been Kkusum and she did do few other shows post that but none worked. She returned to television after some bad luck in films to play mom to a mid twenties Anuj Thakur. She is in her early thirties so that must hurt but she must have chosen the show as she has a central role. She plays a strict matriarch who has a good grip on her family. Anuj plays the role of a 20 year old married boy.
