Qazi & Rooprekha win Delhites hearts

Nokia N Series presented an evening to sing and dance last Sunday evening for the Delhites at East Delhi Mall. It was a sheer chance for the people gathered there to spend sometime basking in musical profundity with Fame Jodi No. 1 of Qazi Taukeer and Rooprepkha Banerjee. Thousand of peoples gathered there danced on the tunes of the singers along with Angles Dance Troupe. Followed songs from the dance group like 'Saki-Saki', 'Nach Baliye', and 'Kajrare-Kajrare' that made the evening a live wire.

Soon Rooprekha came to the stage solo and began churning out numbers like 'Chudiyaan-Chudiyaan', 'Sajna Ve Sajna', and 'Mahi Ve' in her honeyed voice, which stole the heart of the people gathered there. Shortly Qazi followed rendering 'Bheegey Honth Tere', 'Kaho Na Kaho', 'Yaron Main Ban Gaya Hero' which electrified the people even more. Requests flowed down from the people and Qazi sang 'Dil Ko Tumse Pyar Hua' which was largely applauded by the people. The jodi got together and gave scintillating performance for the duets 'O Saki-Saki' and 'Ye Pal Humein Yaad Aayenge'.

With their tremendous performance the fame jodi rocked and so did the show, which was delightfully successful. 'Sachmuch Delhi hai dilwalon ki…' said Qazi at the end.
