Friends, I have been Choti bahu since episode 1 after catching the glimpse of the show for the first time during their wedding and their was no turning back for me. I got hooked to the story and of course the lead characters Dev and Radhika. And their love blessed by Sri Krishna. Despite all the odds and difficulties these two faced, the uniqueness of this show was, no one could ever succeed in coming between them. They showed odd things like selling of the punya and even official wife as Vishaka. We rejoiced when Radhika sat in the ghunghat for the RajPurohit puja and rooted for RadhikaDev during Kshma Vrat. Hoping and praying to Krishna that they would win against all odds.Despite showing many absurd things, their show was still different. Even though they might have goofed up the rituals and made many mistakes, the greatest thing going for them was the strong bond between Radhika and Dev and despite all mistakes in rituals and ceremonies, it was always Radhika who sat with Dev in the puja - even it meant showing her in ghunghat repeatedly. Even when everyone thought that Dev was no more, it was shown that Radhika had steadfast faith and determination that as long as she is breathing, that meant that Dev was alive. Such was Radhika's love for Dev. This is same girl, who tells Dev that she cannot return her love back to Vishaka - Nahin lauta paungi voh ristha. And it is same Dev who tells Radhika that he can never hate her because he has only learnt to love her. This was their essence of love. They understood each other without having to say much. But today, I was so sad to see the episode. I watched it against my will, my courage and was sincerely hoping that they don't show what everyone was dreading all along. But alas, my worst fears came true. I had no courage in me to watch the show entirely, but whatever I saw, I had tears in my eyes. What I did not realize was, I was crying. It gave me such an immense pain to see such beautiful characters brought down. It was almost like someone dont like them and are trying hard to bring the popularity of two characters and as well the two leads down.
I don't post much, but do read many post. And I wish I could laugh at the turn out of events. I have seen many people posting some funny topics, but I cannot get myself to do that at all. But all I could feel was pain, hurt and tears. Some might say it is a fictional story and I might be overreacting. I do agree it is fictional, but when this story ceased to be a fiction for me, I simply cannot understand, and Dev/Radhika became even more my own after I saw Rubina and Avinash. It is so sad to see such phenomenal actors being treated this way, when their sheer acting ability and charisma is the reason for the show in the first place. I really pray to Krishna to give success to these two and may they get all that they deserve in life. And also that finally it dawns upon the creatives not to go away from the Krishna and not create triangular love story. It will not work for CB. It simply never will, because CB is love story of Radhika Dev and with the sanction of Kanha. Nothing else matters.
