hello frnds !! i guess this is the longest update i had ever made ... i had included some maaneet moments as requested by many..hope you guys ll like it ... for further pms , do add "mrk_pm"to your buddy list ...

if you guys feel that am moving faster , do let me know ...

i wont be updating for some time , so i had given a very long update (according to me 😆 )

PART -9

Saturday Morning

Maan was sitting in the living room of the khuranna mansion lost in his thoughts . how his approach towards life had changed drastically ..the maan who concentrated only on work is no more .

he remembered his first visit to vaibhav's house . he was sitting alone in the garden aloof from everyone . he was forced to come because of his dadi .. just then vaibhav came and started talking to him ..

vaibhav : hello young man !! how are you doing ?

maan smiled a bit : am fine uncle .

vaibhav : you know one thing ?? you are just like ashish ..

maan was puzzled and gave a questioning to look to him .

vaibhav smiled : you know in college days , you also used to sit aloof like you, having a tough look . it was so hard for me crack him up and make him talk to people .

maan : uncle I don't understand ..

vaibhav : you think your dad ll be happy seeing you like this maan ???

maan : why wat happened to me ??am perfectly fine '.

Vaibhav : no maan am not talking abt your physical issue .. but emotionally and mentally you are not fine . you need to open up yourself to people , atleast to your family. I know this is all because of your parents early death . think about your dadi , ll she be happy to see you so engrossed in your work that you ignore your personal life all together ???

Vaibhav paused for some time and saw maan .. He could say that he is trying to understand things '.he continued '.

I know maan , losing your parents at such a early age is difficult to cope up . Just think of your dadi , she had lost all the person in her life . her husband , son and daughter-in-law .. In spite of her loss , she was determined to bring her grandchildren a very big level in the society .I can see she achieved it too ' she gave you the best of everything 'now its your time to do something for her ' am not forcing you into anything just think over it ..

Maan sat there listening to his talk ..

After sometime,

Maan : I know you are right uncle .. after losing mom and dad , our family business started to slow down .. people lost hope and they started withdrawing their support slowly ' all I saw was dadi struggling to bring me and annie up to this level .. I could not think of anything other than finishing my studies fast and relieving her of the responsibilities '..i had no time to think of spending time outside my college hours . I leave straight to office trying to understand various projects and other office chores' at that time people even talked rubbish about my family and once I started taking over office and earn profit their attitude towards our family changed .. they were only after money and fame .. I dint like any of it..girls were greedy and tried all sorts of trick so that I could marry them 'I decided to keep myself away from those things '

Vaibhav : now its time that you should come of your inhabitations and lead a happy and a contended life '.

Maan smiled : thanks uncle ,, I ll surely try to change myself ..

Vaibhav hugged him and patted in his back .

Maan : am feeling so light uncle .. I had never felt so comfortable with anyone ..

Vaibhav smiled : time for change young man ..come one lets go or my darling wife ll come with a stick ..

Maan and vaibhav heartily laughed and made their way inside '

From that day maan started speaking to everyone @ home and tried to change himself for good .. he became good friend with geet and sai to the level that he had endless fights with geet '

Maan came back to reality when he heard dadi calling him repeatedly ..

Maan : umm ??? sorry dadi , I was thinking something '

Dadi : I can see that .. now come on lets leave or chitra ll give series of calls ..

Maan smiled : haan ..

AT GEET'S HOUSE

Everyone had some snacks and sat in the living room .. they were talking random things related to household '. Maan adjusted himself with the place .. just then pinky(sai called as pinky @ home ) brought some photo albums and gave it to maan and dadi .. geet was busy in the kitchen cleaning '

They started seeing the pics while viabhav was saying some background stories'there were pics of vaibhav and chitra marriage and some of their Chennai home pics ..

Maan took another album which was on his side and started seeing it .. there were pics of baby geet .. just then geet entered the room and noticed maan holding her pics '. She got angry and shouted ..

Geet : appa who took this album ????

Everyone was startled . suddenly pinky said : why ? are you afraid that dadi and maan bhai ll get to see your bunny bunny pics ???

Maan seemed so interested in that conversation and gave the album to vaibhav ans moved towards her direction : haan geet bolo . which pic you are afraid of ?? I guess I dint get to see it yet ???

geet : appa you are not giving that ...

maan : why ?? uncle give that one .. i want to see it ..

both stared at each other like they would kill each other any moment ..

geet : appa am saying for the last time ...

with that she marched towards her father and tried to get it from his hands ..

but maan was faster than her and snatched it and ran towards the garden ..

geet was hell angry and ran behind him : you you ...

maan : catch if you can ms.agraharam..

geet : you are so dead if i get you ..

rest of the family roared on to laugh on seeing the gymnastics that maan and geet were doing ..

geet was still chasing maan ..

geet : maan , give me that photo .

maan : no ways ..

maan ran towards the living room and turned back ..he could not find geet ..

he moved towards the family and opened the pic ..

it was geet dressed as bunny ..she looked co cute .

Another was bit older photo ..probably 3 yrs ' she stood in a cute choli like dress with a shy expression '.

Geet came from behind and snatched the photo ..

Maan : arey yaar , I was seeing it ..

Geet was still angry : I don't want anyone to see ..

Maan smiled and pulled her cheeks : why you are so so cute in it ..

Geet was annoyed and pushed him a bit : that's why I don't want anyone to see .. all are making fun of me ..she pouted her lips and sat by dadi ' "dadi dekho na , he is making fun of me"

Dadi laughed a bit seeing their noke jokes and hugged her side ways : arey maan , mera beti ko kyo thang kar rahe hai ??

Maan : hello dadi , you are supposed to take my side not hers ..

Pinky : chodo bhai , meh hon na aapke sath .. she showed her tongue to geet who turned her face ..

Maan laughed and hi-fied with her : haan pinky , come on lets make another plan to annoy her '

The elders laughed seeing their childish fight and soon the remaining also joined them '..

After some time ,

Geet was sitting in her room seeing her some pics and letters .. she smiled thinking those days ' maan knocked her door and entered .

Maan : hey what are you doing here??

Geet smiled : just sitting ..

Maan too smiled : are you angry with morning incident ?? I mean , I dint intend to offend you ..

Geet : no maan .. its just that I over reacted .. my frnds used to make fun of me with those pics..

Maan : but looked too cute in that bunny pic..

Geet : not again ..

Maan laughed and said : hey show that letter .. seems like some child had written it ??

Geet : yes , its me '

Maan read that letter and could not help himself smiling '

The day could not better for both the families especially dadi .. she got to see her grandson laughing and enjoying himself away from the business tensions .. she prayed god that everything should be fine '

Week end was over . maan got himself busy with the office chores and same was the case of geet .. she started helping her father full fledged .

It was Wednesday . maan was busy in a meeting discussing about the upcoming project with adi and sasha when his cell rang . he noticed that it was from pinky .. everyone in the meeting room noticed that he was relaxed for a second from his usual cold look..

He answered the call . adi and sasha could not get to understand what the other person talked .

Maan : haan pinky bolo..

Am in office now ..anything important ??

Teek hai , where are you now ???

Okay you wait in my cabin . don't stand outside .. I ll be there 20 mins ..

With that maan cut the call and proceeded with the meeting ..

Maan : sasha , I don't want any mistakes in this project . make sure the reports are checked in detail ..

Sasha : sure MK .

Maan : adi , I want the budget files of this project now .

Adi : ssiir , its in my cabin . I ll bring it to your cabin .

Maan : okay now , meeting is over .. and adi , I have to leave now .. so bring it fast ..

Having said , maan left the conference room and made his way towards the cabin ..there he saw pinky playing games in her mobile .. maan cleared his throat and entered .

Maan : ahem ..

Pinky smiled : hai bhai .

Maan side hugged her : hmm .. come lets sit on the couch ..

After they settled ,

Maan : whats the matter pinky ? you in office ?

Pinky started excitedly : bhai , geet's birthday is on Saturday . I want to give her a surprise .

Maan : you mean a party ??

Pinky : not actually , just a family get together and some close frnds .

Maan : sounds like a good idea .

Pinky : bhai , I want to go for shopping . she dint even buy the birthday dress even ..

Maan thought for a while and told : teek hai , we ll arrange for a party in KM . that way she wont come to know of the preparation . hey did uncle and aunty know about this ??

Pinky : partly yes and partly no .

Maan was confused : kya ??

Pinky answered coolly : they know I want to give her a surprise but they don't know that you gonna help me . do you think they ll allow me to disturb you in office hours like this ??

Maan laughed : don't worry , I ll talk to uncle soon ..

Adi who knocked and entered the cabin was shocked to find his maan sir talking and laughing casually to a girl .

maan immediately maintained a stern posture .

Maan : haan adi ..

Adi : ssiirr, files .

Maan : teek hai .. now am leaving .. wont be there for the rest of the day .. call me if there is any emergency .

Adi : teek haii sir .. and he left the cabin '

Maan : pinky , chalo lets start out shopping ..

Pinky: bhai , ek minute .

Maan : haan ???

Pinky : you gonna come in this dress ??

Maan looked at himself confused : kyo ?? why is this dress not nice ???

Pinky laughed : bhai , we are going for shopping . not for a meeting or a conference . change in to some casuals .

Maan dint know wat to answer : teek hai , just 2 mins ..

He took out some dress from the closet and left to change in the rest room that was separately attached to his cabin .. he came out fixing his hair .

Maan : now okay ??lets go ..

Pinky : hmm '

They made their way outside the cabin . everyone were shocked to find maan in casuals and even more to find a girl holding his hand .. sasha was the first to recover from the shock ..tasha stood near by her

Sasha : MK ?

Maan stopped walking : hmmm ??

Sasha : you in casuals ???

Maan : kyo ??? is anything bothering you ??

Sasha : nahi '.

Maan got irritated : am getting late sasha .. what ever matter is it ..lets discuss tomorrow ..

He dint wait for her reply and immediately dashed towards the exit with pinky ..

In car ,

Pinky : bhai , who is that lady ???

Maan : who ??

Pinky : the one who stopped you .

Maan : sasha ???

Pinky gave a sad look : haan bhai .. I think she is in so much poverty ..look at her dress , I think her dress torn in to two halves . I cant find any below her knee.. increase her salary naa ??

Maan had a tough time controlling his laugher : nahi pinky , its called western wear ..

Pinky replied innocently : I thought she was so poor and cant afford for a proper dress .. aur haan , she definitely needs to see a doctor bhai .. she is getting tensed and angry on anyone and everyone 'geet didi ne kaha that day ' may be some psychiatrist ll help but I fear that doctor ll also change if he gets her as patient ..

Maan could not hold any longer and burst out laughing : haan haan , she definitely needs a doctor..has a lot of split personality .. when she is with me ~ she behaves as if am romio and she is Juliet .. with staffs ~ shaitan and with dadima ~ an innocent girl ..

Pinky joined the laugher too '.

They laughed and laughed till they reached the shopping mall '.
