Sex sells. And it's not just Neha Dhupia who thinks so anymore. Even for a conservative country like ours, films have forayed into a bolder and wilder space.

Necklines have plunged to dangerous depths, the use of bed-sheets to cover-up 'controversial' bedroom scenes is a thing of the past and roses embracing each other is no longer symbolic of a kissing scene. Actors are tagged as serial kissers and skin-show is in!

Naseeruddin Shah: "At least for The Dirty Picture, the word 'dirty' can only be used in its literal sense."

Anurag Kashyap: "My cameras have never lingered around legs and cleavages. I handle sexuality very healthily, unlike other A-list directors."

Vidya Balan: "I don't feel uncomfortable while shooting bold scenes because most of them, in my case, are aesthetically shot."

Madhur Bhandarkar: "Indian audience is different. Sex might be a casual thing in the west, but we still see it as a stigma."

Sonam Kapoor: "I don't understand why we have to make such a big deal out of it. We watch it so casually in Hollywood films."

Arjun Rampal: "I try to avoid bold scenes unless the script demands it, but I don't see why we should look at sex as a novelty. We're from the land of Harappa and Mohenjo-daro after all!
