You are right. During the mourning period of 13 days, people don't go to temples. But when they can hold up such an auspicious event of RPti abhishek during this period, going to temple is no big deal for them! Strange people. RP's are supposed to be correct in their rituals and practices, but here it seems that RP's can do whatever they wish and however they wish to. They probably think that they are much bigger than these small rituals set up by the society! If that's the case, why are they scared of the society? And are not bringing out Dev's truth? Second, her promise to protect the honor of the family. Is there any honor left after DDjee washed his dirty linen during the RP puja...disclosing his Son Harinath's deeds? No. Then which image is Radhika going to protect? Just like there were hushed rumors about her supposedly second marriage with Dev...wont people be murmuring about Harinath's illegitimate affair? Y'day Daima was screaming at Dev that he should protect the legacy...blah blah...and if he married Rads, people would point fingers at him. If we neglect this point and think that indeed by disclosing RaDev marriage, RPti would come down...then if tomorrow in any chance...if people come to know of Dev's lies that he was never married to Barkha and kept her as his wife, wouldn't the RPti come crashing down then?

Thus, by asking Dev to re-marry, Radhika is actually nullifying the vachan given to DDjee!

She is even risking Barkha's life in this mess. Barkha, although did take a wrong step, but that doesn't mean her whole life should be ruined. Dev shall never love her...and she would never get a wife's status in front of him.

Radhika in her brainwashed status, is taking a very wrong step that will prove fatal to the entire RPship. The Purohit clan too would be responsible.
