PRACHI AND RAM KAPOOR CHEMISTRY

Dear all folks,

Before I open my mouth, i just wanna remind everybody that these are my opinions and am in no way insinuating anything perfectly unacceptable. Just wanna get this right ..as I would hate to say anything about our much loved Prachi :-)

So, from the two SBS videos I watched, I have goaded myself into highlighting a couple of things that struck me. Bear with me and Here's my two cents worth:

1. Ram is more comfortable with Rakshanda and Roshni Chopra ( Pia) than with Prachi.

2. Bani is shy/awkward around him... She seems a lil unsure about how to behave around him. Probably because It looks like our pyari Bani has like a God-Almighty-Crush on Ram Kapoor. And its totally understandable - as our hero is this dashing prankster who loves to laugh and make people laugh..I mean come on gals, you can fall in love with even an ugly guy with such a personality ...But Ram is swoon inducing goodlooking (my take).

Also, the scenes they do are pretty romantic. If we viewers send our hormones into overdrive while watching them, how can a 17 year old kid not swoon while actually acting them out...Know what i mean?

3. Ram, does flirt with everybody in a goodhumored/harmless way, but, he never touches any of them (atleast in front of the SBS camera) EXCEPT for Bani. Let us rewind a bit - the three girls and Ram SBS interview, he never touched any of them, except when Pia pushed Prachi towards Ram and he had to kinda support her..sort of friendly gesture ... no biggie. So, in video 1, he touched Bani Alone - fleetingly.

In the most recent video, did you guys see the way he held the Mic even though Bani held it? Okay, I am not a prude. But Once, twice, even three times can be a mistake, but why continue to do it when Bani was already holding it??? I watched the video a second time only for the hands :-) It wasnt like Bani was removing the mic either ( then it would be a reflex action)

Also Noticed how he was always maintained a physical distance with Roshni, but not with Bani. When they were doing the pic pose, when they were standing, when they were heck all the 5 minutes..

Bani's shoulder was grazing his chest most of the time.. I watched the video a third time for the shoulders :-) ( I know, I know, I have no life :-) )

This could be mostly because Ram might have felt that Prachi being 17 year olds, there was no need to make a conscious effort to distance himself from her physically as nobody can misunderstand and misconstruct it, while with the rest of the ladies, he had to be careful never to touch them more than fleetingly...know what i mean? I am guessing this is the reason.. But, being a Jai-Bani camper, my imagination's galloping like a wild horse.. actuall mapping Ram as Jai and Prachi as Bani.... which is what most nutcase fans do I suppose..

Look, i know I am raving like a nutcase, but, I cant get over how cute they are !! But hey, dont kill me for my opinions and i am honestly not insinuating anything. I do love Prachi as a kid..She is blameless. I just felt that Ram's casual friendliness is inducing the lovely girl to develop a major crush on him...

well, you have indeed stated some crucial points. but i am sure that the chemistry between ram and prachi will definitely improve in the coming days. lets keep our fingers crossed for it. 😃

😆 I guess a lot of could make out from the very first episode of SBS which showcase the interview of Ram along with the three girls, that Prachi was completely in awe of him...and he pretty much knew it, because Ram was looking quite awkward when Roshni teased them together! 😆

No doubt Ram gets along better with Rakshanda and Roshni, because they are closer to him in age and from the Television Industry, Prachi is just 17, right out of school and a complete novice! And it doesn't help that she breaks out into girlish giggles everytime he is around, it can be pretty embarassing!!! 😆

Some of their scenes show a lot of awkwardness between them, but primarily from Prachi's end, Ram is always at ease...case in point being the drunken hug scene, in which Prachi looked almost wooden and expressionless, whereas that scene required a lot of emotion from her side! But the Dori scene was alright, Prachi did it as well as Ram....see, all said and done he is a far superior actor than she is and hence however brilliant she might be, he will naturally outshine her...so it would be pretty unfair to compare both Ram and Prachi together!

Television is a very different ballgame, its very tough to do intimate scenes with your co-stars, because unlike a movie, where you complete the movie and then its good-bye time, serial artists meet everyday and work for almost 12 - 18 hrs a shift, that means meeting everyday regulary, the same set of people...hence, its natural that there is an inhibition in doing an intimate / romantic scene...particularly for a newcomer!

And the fact that Ram and Prachi uncannily share the same age gap in real life like their characters would also be a case in point for awkwardness....I still recollect Prachi's face going crimson when Ram teased her about dozing off on his shoulders in between shots...She looked as if the Earth would eat her up! 😆 Ram's behaviour with her is of an indulgent adult, he kind of seems protective and concerned for her, in a very Big-brother sort of way!!! Ashwini had mentioned in an earlier interview, that Prachi is the most pampered and protected on the sets and that everyone adores her, I am sure Ram would be getting Candies for her to eat....😆

Btw, did you notice, no one seems to mention poor Naman Shaw unless it is to pull his Leg...everyone seems to be having a ball teasing the poor guy! Wonder why? All the men in the serial must be raving envious of Ram and the attention he garners fromt the Ladies...😉😆Ram was so embarassed and yet flattered when Rakshanda commented him as being the "Saas" of all the girls around...Prachi was giggling like a Hyena...😆 Ram must be thinking, "Ek hai Anaar yahan, kitne bimaar yahan, yeh dil mein kis kis ko do, har ek ladki mujhe pe hai marti, mein kis ke dil mein rahoon..." Till his Wife calls him up on his cell-phone and reminds him that he has to do the Cooking and dishes for tonight...😆

I don't think Ram can help being charming and attractive... 😳 😆 If we guys are going bonkers watching him on the Idiot Box, then I can well imagine how hard it must be for his co-stars to avoid being attracted to him! And not just Prachi, I think even Arunima looked a little star-struck by him!

Lolz..For that matter, I thought that even Rakshanda and Roshni were all Ga..Ga over him...its just that Prachi seemed the most obviously infatuated!

PS: I was surprised to see Prachi addressing Ram by his name, because Roshni and Arunima were calling him as "Ramji"!😕 Normally, in the Industry, there is a tradition of addressing "Ji" to the name of senior artists or calling them Sir!

maybe bcause of prachies age shen ram does not have a friendly relationship 😳

yea i have 2 also noticed dat ram is more comfy wif roshni chopra(pia) and rakshanda khan, but cnt help wishing dat it was da same wif prachi but hence here the age gap comes in but yea...
they both hold an awesome chemistry. and correct me if i am wrong but ram likes teasing her, but doesnt do so wif rakshanda...friendly realitonship wif her is more mature than wif prachi.

Its possible Prachi has a crush.. but as long as the crush is healthy...its ok..As long as Prachi does not think she is Bani and does not think Ram is Jai.. a healthy crush is very much allowed, as it does bring in that extra special emotion into acting... 😳

prachi was expressionless in that scene bcoz it was the requirement of that scene as "bani" was shocked that what is this man doing down he told him not to touch him n now he caught hold of me other reason for that expressionless mode could be that "bani" was confused thinking that what is jai goin to do as she never even could dream abt "jai" hugging her
n abt thier offscreen chemistry jai considers bani as a frend n b4 bani use to call him ramji n jigs ashwiniji(i saw it on a interview of kasamh se stars on zee when it had just started sometime when rosh n pushky were goin around ) but as time has passed they have become good frenz n have left the formalities behind n ram spending most of the time with ram might have really started considering her as a sister n i don feel that he is more comfortable with rosh n rakshu than with prachi instead i feel the opp that he is comfortable with prachi more than rosh n rakshu
n abt prachi having a crush she once mentioned flirting doesnt intrest her i know ram is irresistable but actors know thier line n i never felt prachi as such liked ram in that way asin we feel it right in an interview by just watching them i never felt so so i guess they perfectly comfortable with each other

If ram kapoor can go after a newly married gotami shroff and ussay mrs ram kapoor bana kar hi dumm liya ..a much married ram kapoor can also go after a 17 yr old and issay bhi mrs ram kapoor bana kar hi rahe ga...

You are right about the 'ji' that existed early on..
I noticed that too. All said and done, yes, they realise their limitations and they draw lines...heck they have to!
