While on one hand, Bollywood stars like Salman Khan are remaking hit south Indian films in Hindi, a reverse trend is also taking off. If sources are to be believed, the superhit Hindi flick Delhi Belly, with all its foul language and explicit scenes, is likely to make waves in Tamil.

Apparently, a Mumbai-based corporate is planning to remake the Imran Khan-starrer in Tamil.

Sources say that Simbu has expressed keen interest in working on the remake of Delhi Belly. However, a source from the Mumbai corporate remained non-committal when asked to confirm the reports.

However, actor-producer Aamir Khan confirmed the news and said, "Yes, a production house is planning to remake the film, but I believe without the swear words."

So while the audience will get to watch the racy Delhi Belly in a Tamil avatar, the foul language that is likely to be beeped out by the censors, is going to be kept out.

Will the Tamil audience appreciate the film? 😆 It's quite a conservative society. 😆
