Confused :S

OK so since after watching yesterdays episode 1st September m confused whether mohan n kastur got engaged or not since mohan doesn't ev en recognize kastur properly n also after mohan went to London the flashback was shown where babji says to kasturs dad that ur daughter will become our DIL n also when mohans mom was introducing him to her friends she said they haven't seen a girl for him yet so now m confused or they engaged or not

This is what I think..

The writers really need to make things clear to the audience, we're all waiting for explanation, hopefully they give us good answers to the questionmarks on our minds and of Mohurs.

Well according to the present story, they're definitely not engaged. It wouldn't be possible: the idea for the match came from Baapji AFTER Mohan left, and it was a promise Baapji had made to Jitu. Kastur knows about this match - the entire Desai family does - but in Mohan's family only Bhanu and Baapji know. Saroj says she hasn't found a bride yet because she has no clue about the relationship at all. So an engagement definitely didn't happen: they've only been set up in a match of convenience. We all had a feeling that the media in general was mistaken about there being an engagement, it was nothing more than an arrangement made 😊

yaa...they arent engaged...from the new promo its clear that saroj and mohan is totally unaware of this ...only kastur's family, baapji and mohan's father is aware of this relation...
