He is seen playing the role of a legendary Chanakya in Imagine TV's Chandragupta Maurya. But recently Manish Wadhwa played completely opposite character in Ram Gopal Varma's Shabri, where he essayed a man with grey shades. The actor is happy that the film, which he shot for a couple of years ago is finally released. Sharing his story on how he bagged the film, he says, "I got a call from Ram Gopal Varma one day. He was impressed by seeing my Kohinoor TV show poster, I posed as Kali, the main lead. He called me for a look-test and I was glad to know that I got selected." The actor who plays an important role opposite Eesha Koppikhar, could not stop raving about her acting skills and professionalism. Currently shooting for the TV show Chandragupta Maurya, the actor says that his contract with the show ends after three months and later he is game for anything that comes his way, be it films or TV, for whatever be the medium, an actor should always look forward to get their work right.
