Is the debate on Justice (to be) vs Politics (not to be)?

<Edit>

The politics controls the Indian justice system! To change the system, first we need to get IN the system, the corruption era must be stopped. Having regards to the conditions in India, to the variety of social upbringing of it's people, and the disparity in the morality level of the people: paramount need to maintain law, India can not risk experiment of abolition of capital punishment. I am in rule for the CP.

Is it always necessary to get IN the system? I agree that India needs a strong punishment to control its unruly people and we cannot do away with capital punishment. The fear factor is strong disincentive to crime. Without that things cold be worse

Do people who plot murders deserve any mercy ? The convicts mother and daughters are now undergoing great grief . What about family of the person who was murdered?😲

Imagine if these 3 get mercy. Next karunanidhi will demand mercy for his daughter whose crime is certainly not as serious. And what happens to kasab now? Will he too be entitled to mercy because of the delay which has become a norm in our country? Who is to be held accountable for the delay?
Even if we dont have clear answers we can atleast try to analyse the reason for this impasse. How does it really matter whether HP was good or bad , whether bella was more interesting or Hermoine. Surely we all know that witches and vampires dont really exist? Or dont we 😕

Certain persons are a danger to society due to their weird thinking and many do not realise their faults. Over a period of time many will change.
Young terrorists that do a lot of harm have often been brain washed and do not know the truth.
But in most societies many are not willing to go the extra mile and help reform them. Also it is very expensive to maintain them. One solution is of course to get these people to do some work while in the prisons and pay for their own costs ?

If the people are a danger to society is it wise to wait till they have a change of heart and keep getting hurt in the process?
As for karunanidhi and team do they come across as someone who would go the extra mile to save a few murderers?

Should we only execute people for the most awful multiple murders as a form of compulsory euthanasia rather than as a punishment or should we execute all murderers irrespective of the degree of guilt purely as a retributive punishment for taking another person's life and in the hope of deterring others? I have always believed that once a killer is always a killer.
