Hey! Guys first of all... Eid Mubarak aur Ganesha Chaturthi ki Shubhkamnayein!

now coming to the topic, Do you think Media plays an important role in shaping the nation, It can change the mindset of people for good or bad reasons? A bias media can be a threat to the growth of the country?

The danger of the Media is a definite fact.
How much and how far it should be controlled is the question.
Freedom of speech without responsibility is an invite to chaos and strife.
Media indeed is a double edged sword that cuts both ways.

Are you talking about news media, entertainment media, social media or all media in general. They all have influence in shaping the nation in various ways and bias can always be dangerous.

Media is both powerful and dangerous. But, i dont think they can change one's mindset for better or worse. The enlightened class will learn to take everything with a pinch of salt. Others will believe what they want to believe and the rest will just do what they are told. If change has to come than it has to come at the grass root level and that's what will ultimately change the course of nations...Honestly speaking i think the media is just an ugly reflection of the society ...

Why only blame the media? More often you have a certain channel/news group that support one particular party and/or ideology... Political parties use media to forward their own agendas...
