Abhishek Bachchan Refuses to Take Paternity Leave

Apparently various reports were circulating that Abhishek Bachchan's film producers were going to give him a holiday soon, so that he could be at home with his pregnant wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Now Abhishek Bachchan has denied all the reports, and his spokesperson puts the record straight, 'It's an action packed year for Abhishek, who is currently shooting for Bol Bachchan with Asin, followed by Dhoom 3 in November.'

Furthermore, Abhi stated that he would not be getting any special treatment from his producers, only Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will. Showing true professionalism Abhishek will be sticking to the dates he's committed to for all his films.

Let's not forget Abhishek Bachchan's next release, Players, where he's expected to be apart of the films hectic promotional campaign.

my dad also didn't take the leave while i & my siblings were born as he was so busy with his career.

He needs to work on his career after his recent spate of bad luck. So its good hes working hard.

I don't think it matters really, cause some fathers are in different countries when their child is born, at least he'll be able to see his kid everyday or whatever. Unless it makes a huge difference him taking a Paternity leave, I don't think it should matter.

Umm wasnt it that YRF didnt want to delay their shoot so Abhishek had no choice but to cancel his paternity leave?
