Star One's popular drama 'Geet Hui Sabse Parayi' is bidding adieu to viewers in October, ahead of the channel's huge makeover.

Earlier, a certain section of media had reported about the new track in the show wherein the protagonists Maan (Gurmeet Choudhary) and Geet (Drashti Dhami) will expire after which they will be reincarnated. However, this has denied but instead a fresh love track is being introduced between Geet and Maan.

The end of 'Geet Hui Sabse Parayi' follows the departures of 'Yeh Ishq Haaye' and 'Rang Badalti Odhani'.

Star One will be repositioned from a youth channel to a secondary entertainment channel to flagship, Star Plus. The channel will also rebrand to Star Desh to wider its appeal.
