LOVE-HATES IN KS - An ANALYSIS

My least favorite characters in KS –

SAHIL

Seriously, this guy needs some testosterone jabs! Plenty of them too! I know I am courting thappads from all Rano-Sahil fans. But, lets face it guys, he almost has not laudable traits…The only discernable trait is he goes into palpitations every time his Mama looks at him. And that aint much of a compliment. His character is as under developed as Rano's, but at least our pyari Sourface has attitude she can boast about.

Okay, for many many many more reasons, I cannot stand Roshni Chopra the character.

Why oh why does she have to be such a major Kabab me Haddi?

As a true J-B camper, I want her lost in space or be zapped the jungles of New Guinea where she can have all the attention from the native men. Or even go through the Second Realm of Dante's Inferno…Every time she appears on screen my pulse plummets, my head swims. Every time, Jai exchanges looks with her my heart aches. And have you seen her flicking her hair off her forehead even when there is no hair on that forehead? Are we supposed to be impressed or what?

AIRHEAD PIA

Being an Airhead isn't so bad as being a messed up Airhead who doesn't know she is messed up.

Right, I have nothing against pretty girls, or rather girls who think they are pretty. But seriously this dame needs to get therapy. Never have I seen a more immature at her age.

Totally confused in her priorities, she misuses her so called attitude.

On a side - I think 'attitude' can be admired when you show it to people who are superior to you…then its called spunk. But when you show attitude to people who are nice, its called bitchiness.

I have a gut feeling that she is going to come running to Bani and then in some twisted logic, decide to plot to get Jai away from Bani ..assuring herself she is doing Di a favor. OMG, this gal drives me up the wall. I seriously feel sorry for Pushy although once upon a time I felt he deserved her.

PS: Pushy was on my list previously, but lately seeing the miseries Pia is putting him through, I knocked him off the list.

PPS: Tony the butler was dangerously close to hitting my Hate List for accepting Jai's White Shirt from Goa. But I saw sense and decided to give him grace time to return it. Tony? Are you listening?

Okay not counting Bani, whom I happen to really love; and Jai who is just …okay, I wont go there .. I will need two pages for that, they are –

JIGZ

Oh Boy! What a lady! And a scheming one too! In spite of about 14 layers of hideous makeup, her beauty shines through viciously. And Ooh la la! That searing look of disdain! And who can forget her venomous smirk of utter glee when she convinced Bani to replace Pia in the mandap?

And the way she immediately transforms from a bitchy tone to oh-so-innocently uttering "Jai Bhaiyya". Aah! She makes me smile, chuckle and fume. But she never ever gets to me. I don't think she gets to Bani either as I remember Bani once said "No matter what you do, I cannot be angry because I know you love your brother a lot"

I have a feeling Jigz will turn out okay..maybe not pronto....

Even if she doesn't, I shall enjoy her glares, stares, smirks, chuckles, plots and disdain. Rivetting lady! As long as she isn't ganging up against me!

Ranveer –

I am way too distracted by this dude's searing looks to discern any special characteristic trait.

Looks wise – guys, need I say more? Can you not hear my heart race and my breath quicken? Should I make an explicit fool of myself?

Adi –

This guy is not only a looker, but a man! He is man enough to rib Jigs! He is immune to her venomous looks and her vicious tongue. I love him gals! He is just plain rocking. He being on Bani's side makes me feel that all is not lost … Almost like Gandalf the Grey in the LOTR…J His sense of humor aint too bad, his level-headedness, his concern for Bani and at the same time, his detachment from the happenings around him makes me like him.

Now, come on, out with your favorites…I want to know yours. And if you hate me for including Sahil, I want to hear your protests as well J

Like u can go on and on about "Bani and Jai". They are the best of the lot. The one and only reason I watch KS. 😃

Jigyashah, shes just fantastic, wonderful in her acting.I completely agree with you.

Pushkar and Pia, the least said about them the better.They deserve each other. Hope she does not go running back to Jai and Jai has the brains to reject her if she does come running to him. Hope by then he will be completely over her and in love with the lovely, sweet and tough Bani.

Ranveer, looks good but cant say anything more.

Sahil, no guts at all. Could try to be more gutsy like his mother and brother ( not in the negative sort of way).

Rano, has guts, but lets see what more her character has to offer in the serial.

Roshini, hummm have to wait and see what the big secret is between Jai and her.

I dont think there's any character which invokes extreme hatred..."Hate" is just too strong a word.
I think the writers messed up big time with Pia's character.
That character had so much potential, it was grey and they could have kept it that way. Pia's spoilt, brash and immaturish and therein lies the appeal. They made it pure black now...... Tsk Tsk
Most annoying character as of now: Jai Walia for being the most inconsistent male protagonist to come out of Balaji stables....The rest all are well, wimps. Jai Walia started off different and was pretty good till this Roshini person came into being. Whatever my understanding of Jai's character is, he has no right deriding Bani and her position in front of his so called ex girl friend.

He ranted at Rani for placing Pia and Pushkar before him, what is he doing now?
