Dushyant - I had googled this name a while back, because I was curious of the meaning. Anyway, other than literally meaning destroyer of evil/end of evil, Dushyant(a) is also a king in Indian literature and mythology. I really see no connection with the mythological character and this Dushyant, but just thought I would put it out there.
(Well, I do see one possible connection, but it's a pretty big reach and stretch.)
I really don't know what quirk I can add about the show. I guess the set designer(s) responsible for the haveli. There are times when I look at the caps and my eyes wander to the background, or the objects that frame some of the shots. There's also that scene where after Gulaal is told off by Paanbha at Talli's engagement, Kesar is framed by the doorway and the festive curtains. That was the first thing that jumped out during even my first watching. The framing and the festive decorations behind him.
