I think that a Maha-episode was not at all required at this point of time. They could have shown all of this during weekdays as well. But, perhaps they couldn't delay it anymore as they had already done it previously.
1) Dadi's loneliness in Kanpur - I give a big round of applause for the CVs for coming up with this topic as this is something which is very common in today's world. They showed how different the two families are in terms of respect, manners and curtsy. Even though Navya's been brought up in a big modern city but she's so traditional at heart and her family values are the most important thing for her. But I really felt sad for dadi. She should permanently stay in Mumbai rather than Kanpur!
And who knows, may be Navya helping dadi to cope up with this might make a good and long lasting impression on dadi which would make way for Anant-Navya's relationship clear.😛
2) Renuka-Gautam fight - Okay, this is something we've been waiting for since ages! Now that the time has come, I'm not surprised or excited about it. And seriously, I don't even want to talk about it because everyone has made their view on the topic clear. Period. 🥱
3) Nimisha's wish to become a modern girl - And she wasn't wrong to wish so. Wearing jeans and top is not a crime. Anant took his time to realize it but he did realize it for Navya's sake, anyway. But I guess they showed all of this only to make Anant realize Meeta's side of the story. It was a very short track. Let's see if they come up with something more.
All in all, episode was a waste as expected it to be. They could have had a ME when both the families will come face to face in Kanpur. That would have been better.
But new stories have developed and the whole week is going to be fraught with them.
