What made you fall in love with the couple? Honestly, I think it's the fact that they just seem so natural and an amazing storyline'and of course I love businessmen so a hot businessman is all it takes to get me hooked!!

Favorite Show: I don't really have time to watch a lot of TV with school and volunteer and family and all but when I do, it's Geet or Criminal Minds or Mystery Diagnosis. I usually prefer movies to TV just because it ends the same day.

How did you come to know about the show? Last year during the last few days of my summer, I was youtube-ing random songs and then I saw a Maan and Geet scene and I was like hey that's the guy from pati patni aur woh. So basically I watched an episode since I was so bloody surprised by how extremely different Gurmeet looked and I was half not believing it and then I fell in love with the show!!

Who is your favorite FF writer? It would be extremely difficult for me to name one but I can sort of categorize:

Most elegant writing style: Whitefantasy aka Lena

Hottest writing: Lip-a-licious and Mahi-Maan

Witty Writing: _siinnceMaan_ aka Sameera

See, I prefer stories that have Maaneet scenes in every single part or as often as possible and very happy endings although some of the best ffs out there have sad endings.

And everybody else out there, if I haven't mentioned you, it's probably because I am having a brain defect right now but you're all awesome.👏

Who is your favorite author? For a very long time, I was obsessed with Christopher Pike, R.L. Stine, Caroline B. Cooney but recently I'm really loving Stephen King and Margaret Atwood.

What is your favorite book?Nightmares and Dreamscapes by Stephen King and The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood

What is your favorite movie? Any romantic comedy, I am a big sucker for chick flicks and I also love thrillers. Recently I've seen No Strings Attached which was awesome and in Bollywood I think the best one of recent times was Band Baaja Baaraat. In thrillers, The Orphan was quite amazing and Race by far would be the best Bollywood thriller.

What was the last song you heard? Rabba from Mausam since I was just going through the album.

What was the last song you liked? Ujaale baaz from Shor in the City; I love the lyrics--but honestly which song I like really depends on the mood I'm in. Sometimes I'll be listening to slow songs and then other times it'll be the fastest ones on the planet so I'm quite open with music.

When did you start writing? I've been writing since I was a child. Writing is something that I do to relax and just vent out everything that is in me. See, I'm a science student so writing really serves as a stress buster for me. With regards to ffs'basically I had written a few parts of Untold Emotions in early May with different character names but I wanted to garner an audience for them and see if people liked my writing so I decided to make my stories Maaneet FF's.

What inspired you to write? Life is an inspiration in itself. I mean, you can write about anything as long as it strikes you in the right place so I probably wouldn't be able to single out any one thing. My mom also writes so it's kind of in my blood I guess so perhaps her.

One thing you will never forget after writing your first FF: The immense amount of love and praise that I garnered. Oh and of course the genuine pressure that develops; suddenly I was writing for an audience and I had to try to write in a way that they would enjoy which was quite an experience. And the constant nagging for updates which I do enjoy I must say.😉

One thing you will forever regret after writing your first FF: Absolutely nothing!! It was an amazing amazing experience.😃

What do you usually do to get you into mood of writing the next part? Listen to a romantic song or watch some romantic scene/movie or get into a fight with someone. I actually write my best when I'm a bit upset, the pain comes out right.🤣

When did the first idea of your FF click in?The storyline of Untold Emotions has always seemed more like a journey to me than a conflict-resolution story. It's the kind of story that I've imagined myself in in one of my many fantasies.😆

Does your FF relate to you in any way? I would put it like this: the Geet in The Shadow of my Soul is similar to how I am now, the Geet in Untold Emotions is what I imagine myself as in the future, the Geet in Awaken Me is what I would have been (a stern businesswoman) if my parents had not wanted me to become a doctor.😛

How does it feel to be the Writer of the Week? AWESOME!!!!!!! See, as a writer what means most to me or any writer is appreciation from the readers. It's like our salary so I mean nothing else could have made me happier!! I love you all!🤗
