Ekta Kapoor is not the only superstitious filmmaker in Bollywood. Reportedly, director Imtiyaz Ali and producers Ashtavinayak Cine Vision decided to postpone the release of Rockstar from September 9 to the more auspicious day, November 11. Interestingly, that makes the film's release date 11.11.11.

A source revealed that the Ranbir-Nargis Fakhri starrer, Rockstar, was intentionally planned to release on 11.11.11, as this date's combination occurs once in every thousand years.

"It also adds up to the 3, 6 and 9 series that is considered to be very lucky to many people. While finalizing on an appropriate release date for the film, the producers at Ashtavinayak felt that there couldn't be a better option than November 11. Not only was it a good time to release the film business-wise, but the dates were turning out to be very significant in numerology. When they discussed this with Imtiaz, he readily agreed," explained the source.
