I dont think he wants to insult her, he's finding out some truths that is only linked with Geet

Therefore he takes it out on her

I think they need to distant themselves

I agree.. and in today's episode he completely poured out his emotions. You could clearly tell and understand that by no means is he trying to hurt geet. Infact it is painful for him to see her in all this pain.

I think all the insults he threw at Geet were also due to his frustration, especially finding out that Geet is his wife and that he lost 1.5 years memory. Knowing all this makes a person very frustrated and in return they say and do stuff unintentionally. I loved how he finally showed his more vulnerable side and opened up to Geet about his feelings. Their reconciliation is not that far away.
