Geet just wanted to smack him right there. She frustratingly and angrily gets off the bike.
Geet: Are you a criminal or something?
Maan: KYA!
Geet: No???'. than why the hell were you driving so fast as if the police were chasing after you.
Maybe you also have a shady side behind that handsome face of yours.
She turns around to leave towards her home when he grabs her hand again and pulls her closer. She falls backwards and ends up sitting on his lap her arms around his neck. She slowly raises her gaze and meets his.
Maan: So you think this old guy is handsome? Maybe if you lower your talking speed you would be able to control your thoughts and tongue better.
He winks at her.
But jokes aside. It is past 2 in the morning, it is quiet late. Do you also need me to come inside and help explain why you were out so late?
Geet frees herself from his hold and gets off him.
" This is no big news to my parents. I am always out this late. You didn't see that coming did you? I told you to stay away from me. The less you no about me the better" she says turning around, but Maan still holds on to her wrist. She twists and turns her wrist trying to break free.
Geet: Meri haath choro Maan.
He gets off the bike and slowly walks up to her from behind.
Maan: First let me know if you are challenging me . . . or if this is your way of trying to get a guy curious and interested in you.
"oh please. Don't even waste your time" she says finally releasing herself from his hold and runs away.
Maan just shakes his head a little. " Par pagli mein kya karoon? You are the one who is inviting me in.

Geet goes inside and is about to go up the stairs when her father turns the lights on and was sitting down on the sofa.
Geet murmurs, " Papaa . . .You didn't sleep"
Mohinderlaal: I had told you to come early because I needed to talk to you.
Geet: yeah I know, but my car broke down that is why I came late.
Mohinderlaal: Acha theek hai . . . come sit here I need to talk to you about something important.
Geet: Kya baat hai papa?
Mohinderlaal: Geet I remember when you were first born your mother Rani and I had a lot of hopes and dreams for you from that day forward. Your mother's biggest dream was to see you get married.
Geet almost jumps to leave.
Geet: Papa please! You know I have no intention of getting married right now! I . . . I haven't even gotten my MBA degree.
Geet's says trying to come with an excuse when she could careless about her education. It was just love and marriage where not her cup of tea.
Mohinderlaal: I know but this time a really nice proposal has come and who says you won't be able to continue your education after marriage?
Geet: Papa please. There will always be some guy if not this guy than the next. I am just not ready for marriage yet why don't you try to understand.
Mohinderlaal: I am not going to force you into this marriage. It is your choice, but I am going to force you to at least to meet the guy. Fair enough?
Geet: Fine. I am really tired so I am going to sleep now.
Mohinderlaal: Good night. You would make your mom's wish come true. . . just think about it.
Geet rushes inside her room and goes sits next to her mirror. She looks at herself she looks so pure and innocent from outside, but inside. . .
She felt like her dad was emotionally blackmailing her. She opens the locket around her neck, which had a picture of her mother and her.
" Mama . . . mujhe maaf karo lekin mein yeh shaadi kabhi nahi karongi aur yeh meri waada hai!" she says with sheer seriousness and determination in her eyes.

Maan heads over to the pitch dark kitchen to grab himself a drink. The whole time in his head his encounter with Geet played back in his head. Without even him knowing a smile had crept upon his lips.
As he closes the refrigerator he almost jumps at the sight in front oh him.
Maan: Daadima aup?
Daadima thinking to herself: Was Maan smiling . . . and that too just like that? So why did he get scared?
Daadima: Hain mein! Mein aapse bahut naraz huin.
Maan: lekin kyun?
Daadima: Didn't I tell you to come early today? I had something important to discuss. But why would you care about your poor Daadi hain na?
Maan: Oh come on Daadi . . . stop over reacting.
Daadima: Acha theek hai I will only forgive unless you agree with what I am about to say.
Maan: Daadi when has it ever been that I never listened to you?
Daadi: Come lets go in the living room.
Maan agrees and goes to the living room to find his mother and father also there 3 in the morning.
" Okay Daadima what is going on? Is everything okay?" he asks a little worried now.
What important thing did they all want to tell him this late at night that it couldn't wait till morning?
Daadi: Beta you know my breaths are numbered, I am getting very old.
Maan: Daadi please don't talk like this. Just get to the point you guys are freaking me out. Akher baat kya hai?
Daadi: Remember you said you agreed already. We have chosen a girl for you to get married too.
" WHAT!!!" he screams so loud waking up poor Dev and Vicky who were happily sleeping.
Yash: There is no need to scream or show your anger Maan. It is high time you think about settling down.
Naina: You are always working Maan. . . she can and will show you a beautiful life other than working.
Daadi: I want to see my grandchildren before I die.
Maan: Why don't you ask Dev or Vicky to fulfill you wish Daadi. I can't just marry a stranger, someone I barely know. Not even that I am not ready to commit to any marriage.
Naina: Why can't you Maan? If you meet the girl at least will your mind change then? You never know you may find yourself liking her.
Maan: Mom please! My mind won't change even then!
Yash: Why won't it Maan?
Maan: kyun . . . kyun. . . kyun ki . . .
"Kyun ki tumhse pyaar hua hai?", Daadi says finishing his sentence.
Maan heads snap up hearing those words and only Geet's image popping inside his head.
Daadi: Isliye you were lost in her thoughts in the kitchen and smiling like there was no tomorrow.
Her beauty, her feistiness, her touch . . . the list could go on. Just thinking about her made every cell in his body ache for her. To think in just two encounters someone could steal Maan Singh Khurana's heart was even a shocker to him.
Maan: Isa nahi hosakta!
" Why? oh no . . . no no no! Don't tell me my oldest grandson is gay!" she says faking a gasp.😲
Pre-cap:
Maan: Guys I am so not in the mood right now. What the hell are you guys doing up this late anyways?
Dev: Bro don't you know you can't hide anything from us. We knew you would be in here like always.
Vicky: Especially when it is a pyaar mamla . . . who better to confide than me?
(A glimpse of the bond between the Khurana brothers😊)
