Parvati Vaze is the new star on the telly and her first show 'Sapno Se Bhare Naina' went on air on Star Plus. This girl backed with a Degree in Fashion Design from Toronto is all set to make it as a TV star. We spoke toParvati about her TV debut and this is what she has to say.

What is your character Naina all about?
She is pretty and exceptionally intelligent. She, like every other person, goes through numerous ups and downs inher life but, chooses to live her life in a positive manner. A girl of indomitable spirit and exuberance, Star Plus brings to you this story of a sunshine girl through an endearing story ' Sapno Se Bhare Naina.

Why is the show called 'Sapno Se Bhare Naina'?
The show is based on Naina's life that she is a vulnerable girl but faces every setback with a smile on her face. Naina is a sprightly 21 years old, residing in the scenic locales of Sikkim. Though bright, friendly and extremely beautiful, this fatherless girl has never experienced the joy of being loved by her family. Her destiny at birth has completely defined the course of her life, which is filled with rejection and disappointment. However, Naina chooses to deal with her lifepositively and decides to leave home in search of love and acceptance. Over time, the story showcases Naina's optimistic perspective towards life.

Does she have a love interest in the show?
Yes. There is a young handsome boy called Daksh played by Gaurav Bajaj who is in love with her. But this track will be telecast much later.

Did you have to prepare for the role of Naina?

Yes. There was a workshop conducted by the production house Shakuntalam Tele-films which helped me a lot since I didn't attend any film school or an acting school or been a part of theater group since I have an Air Force family background and changed seven schools while studying.

How is your first television experience like?

We really have a picnic on the sets where every unit member is like a family and shooting in Darjeeling and Sikkim has been a great experience. Working with Gaurav is also fun.

Are you open to other TV offers?

Yes. But I wouldn't be comfortable doing reality shows like 'Rakhi Ka Insaaf' and also 'Bigg Boss'. Anyways, I would be busy with 'Sapno Se Bhare Naina' for a long time.

Would you like to graduate to films?

Yes. In fact I have just completed a Tamil film, which is ready for release soon.

Any role models or inspirations you look up to?

I have always been inspired by Aamir Khan.
