An open letter of thanks to DD,GC & the GHSP team

I started watching GHSP coz of DD sometime in Aug last year when the whole office track was going on and then got hooked onto the awesome storyline, production values, and of course, the mind boggling Gurti chemistry ...my respect for DD grew and multiplied over the various controversies, rumours and fan bashing incidents ( for GC i.e that she too got pulled into inadvertently). She is defintely one of the most sorted and down to earth people i have seen. Everytime she speaks, she does so honestly and forthrightly-no beating around the bush. And she talks sense...!! Never have i seen her speak ill of anyone or flaunt her self, her achievements or her success...she has always been thankful and appreciative of her fans and its not just lip service-she truly means it!

GC too has been very down to earth and humble despite the cult status he's gained thru GHSP. When they won the best jodi award recently and he was up on stage collecting his trophy, he bent his head down reverently whilst taking the trophy from the presenter. I remember thinking then this guy is so humble...there is no swagger, no chest thumping and no taking for granted attitude of I-am the -best. Which is why i know, he will go from strength to strength.

Infact, the reason why i think the Gurti chemistry is this awesome is coz first and foremost both of them are very nice individuals and secondly, they have no ego hassles. Plus GC is a thorough gentleman. In a pair, the way a guy treats a girl and handles her-both emotionally and physically is very important...as women, we feel very awkward when our personal space is invaded. It speaks volumes abt both DD and GC that they work so intimately and in such close physical proximity but there is never a moment of discomfort ..which is why, we as the audience never feel awkward watching them romance on screen-this is what translates into their fabulous chemistry...and here i would definitely like to give credit to GC...his demeanor has never changed with DD despite the numerous bashings he gets from wayward fans on his personal life, choices and decisions. Frankly, if i were him and if my loved ones got bashed the way his do, i would have quit the show a long time ago...but apart from a stray blog post that went so badly astray for him, he has never complained...

This persona of DD and GC is also the reason why i continue with my loyalty towards GHSP. That, plus the great team effort put in by the entire cast and crew that entertains us day after day and gives us their best...!! THANK YOU, GHSP. Whatever maybe the outcome in Oct, you will always remain special to me and I wish each one of you, all the very best in life.
