I want to make some things clear first:
- We don't need to panic too much on TOI article. They have a habit of exaggerating things and making it seem like Gauri is going to be focus of the show. Remember their pompous article about so-called ''too hot to handle'', ''sizzling'' scenes between Gauri and Jagya on their SR in haveli? That those scenes were so hot that even actors got uncomfortable doing them and their families also got uncomfortable??!!😆
Kya nikla woh? Sab phus!😃 The only hot thing were the hundreds of candles in that room!🤪😆
Otherwise it looked more as if Jagya ki izzat lutne wali hai!🤣 Gauri throwing herself all over a poor deluded man already suffering from hallucinations! 🤡
- That said, the fact is that such a character will be introduced for sure. Even SR was right, even if there was no actual SR, but setting to seduce and attempt to molest was there.
Okay, so Vasu what happened to your argument? About investment and expenditure/budget?
They will no show a new rich character, and also show her lavish bungalow and big office! Even characters related to her shall be shown - even if it is just for a brief while in a few episodes!😡🤢
I frustratingly wonder why the heck can't they invest on Anandi and show something substantial in her life??!!!😡
- Gauri needs a mentor? Gauri??!! What does it mean? Is it a joke? 😡🤪
- For those who think TRPs are due to Anjum/Gauri. I totally disagree. She has been there for a couple of months now. Hers and Jagya's love story/friendship/misadventures and tamasha has been going on for a longer time.
BUT, TRPs peaked only now! Otherwise even despite city and college track or focus on Shashank-Anjum for months earlier, the show was languishing and had even dropped out of TOP 15 on TRP chart!!
TRPs peaked when everyone came to village. When Anandi's fate, her married life and her position was DIRECTLY threatened by arrival of this illegally married couple in Jetsar!
The focus shifted to Anandi, people at large came concerned and curious of her fate! Females viewers sympathised with her and cried for her. People began to hate JaGo and were curiously watching episodes to see what would be reaction of Singhs and Anandi's own family.
It is not necessarily or specifically Anjum's popularity or Gauri's popular character. It is actually threat to Anandi, her life hanging in balance and curiosity about her fate, empathy with her pain - that made TRPs peak and made the show #1!!
People enjoyed bashing of GAGA - and not just in this forum but even in real life.
- If anyone thinks that Gauri is more popular and focus needs to be on her they are mistaken! Viewers are more concerned with Anandi's fate. And if Anandi is handled with kid-gloves, is shown all fondled and molly-cuddled, then all the potent focus and attention which this track has attracted towards her will be wasted.
Viewers are more curious about Anandi - will she remarry? Will she become a career woman? Will she become an activist? Will she face problems from Singhs, villagers of Jagya-Gauri? WHAT NEXT WILL ANANDI DO? - this is what is keeping viewers, at large latched on to the show.
The makers of the show had also promised in new promos ki apni nayi pehchaan banaane jaa rahi hai hum sab ki Anandi.
It will be gross if they go back on their own big and grand promises for Anandi!😲
Let's not forget Anandi's character has also gained renewed popularity and attention from viewers. Even surveys reflect that.
I am not saying all this as a fan or hater of any particular actor or character. I am saying what makes sense. It's not like Komolikas, Mandiras, Ambikas, Pallavis etc. become more popular. It's that the presence of such characters and their threatening the lead characters' happiness, security and future, makes people curious and all concerned about the lead character. The importance of a Tulsi, Parvati or Prerna or an Anandi in this case, only gets MAGNIFIED in presence of threatening elements.
Otherwise, one might argue that it is Ravana or Duryodhan who make Ramayan or Mahabharat interesting or that these epics are popular only due to popularity of the evil guys in them!
Evil guy only remains a roadblock that needs to be dealt with. Nothing more than a roadblock.
I hope makers don't make the mistake of focusing more on that keep and the philanderer. I wish they give DUE focus and attention to Anandi and get a proper mentor for her! We WANT a STRONG and BOLD ANANDI!
It is Anandi's life which needs to be sorted out! Not a woman who has herself stepped on quicksand due to her own ignorance and over-smartness!😲😡
Please don't belittle issues! Gauri's problem is not rejection from in-laws! Her problem is her status of a mistress, her being blindly deluded in ''love'', her being a home-breaker, her illegal marriage, her ruining her own life and jeopardising another woman's life with her own hands!
If at all, she needs a mentor, she needs sane counsel from her Bade Papa. And not another grey-shaded, jilted character who misguides her to get those ''rights'' which were never hers, either socially or legally or morally!🤢😡
People have quit watching this show many times in the past. They will quit even now. It's not like we need this show like oxygen! Dear TV walon, you need viewers. Viewers don't need you! Don't try to take BV viewers for a ride and make it like that crappy 10 PM show on your channel!
Get Singhs a bit sidelined, put GAGA nearly out of the picture, FOCUS SOLELY on Anandi - her development, her empowerment and her mission in life! Please don't make education a joke! Stop glorifying adultery and stop the crap, third grade, cheap, stale ''masala'' elements in the name of entertainment AT ONCE!🤢😡
We shall NOT tolerated being cheated or taken for a ride!😡
