He sat there in absolute anger and frustration...vicky came there and asked him for a game of squash...kesar was not in mood but still he played squash...he was taking out his frustration in the game...the memories of last night flashed in his mind and his eyes glittered with anger...he was hitting the ball forcefully...he wanted to unleash his anger in the game...he was playing so brutually and wildly..that Vicky stood aside and kesar was playing alone he hit the ball hard and it rebounded with more force...gulaal words kept haunting him "tumhe yeh ghutan aur samjhaute bhare rishte ko nibhane k koi jarorat nahi hai"..."tum azaad ho " and he kept hitting hard till his anger reached the maximum...kesar smacked his bat on the floor and it broke into two...kesar broke down as well he hung his head in frustration
vicky came near and asked him "tu thek hai kesar"bhag ja warna tere pe gussa barsa ke theek ho jaega😆 haan yaar galat time par call kiya aj to sach mein phek dega
kesar looked at him and unleashed his inner pain and anger " kyu?kyu"ostrich se dil lagayega to yahi hoga na😆 stupid ostrich
kesar blurted out " kyu nahi samjhati woo ki mein kisi aur se shaadi nahi kar sakta

Kesar looked at him and smiled ecstatically and he left
Kesar was walking in the street today was the happiest day of his life now he knew for certainly what love felt like...the sun shined brighter today the breeze was more gentle the sky was more bluer and the weather tasted more sweeter...as he walked he felt her in the breeze, in the sky...everywhere. He walked and stood on the sea face of the nariman point watching the sea. waves of the ocean crashed against the shoreline, picked up

Aftersometime he came back home...kesar rang the door bell...panba opened the door and saw her son drenched...she started scolding him for getting wet for being irresponsible...but kesar was smiling.love was in the air...he hugged her...just in time gulaal came out and walked towards her room...kesar looked at her...she saw and their gaze met...kesar was seeing her in new light he was looking at his woman...his gulaal he smiled and blushed and hugged panba more tightly wrong number laga hai ji😕oye aarti ye kya love shuv gullu se, blushing wushing bhi uske liye par hug pb ko🤢ye kya kiya tunne😡chee chee ek hug waste😭 arey he was hugging her mummy tightly so damm bacha
What a wonderful feeling it is to fall in love and kesar realized it.
At night gulaal came in her room...and she saw white lilies and a letter was lying on her bed...gulaal's heartbeat accelerated...she knew this letter was of kesar's but...still her heartbeat accelerated...her hands trembled...she walked towards her bed and opened the letter and read

aaj tak tumse meine saari baatein share ki hai...har choti choti baatein tumse kahi...par pata nahi kyu yeh baat nahi kah paa raha hun isliye likh kar tumhe apni dil k baat batana chahata hun...gulaal tum mujhse kehti thi na...jab mujhe pyaar hoga to uska chehra hamesha mere samne rehega...woo tum ho gulaal jiska chehra hamesha mere saamne rehta hai..tum door rah kar bhi hamesha mere pass rahti ho aur tumhe bare mein sochne k liye tumhe mehsoos karne k liye 24 ghante to kya meri poori zindagi kam pad jaayegi..

Gulaal read it and she was speechless... Falling in Love...Being in love is a wonderful feeling and him actually loving her back is an even greater feeling. Yes she was in love with him...the tears rushed into her eyes and the emotion stiffled...it was the outburst of love... she felt a warm happiness;a sense of belonging ;an aura of completeness
she wanted to break her shackles she wanted to free herself she wanted to embrace her kesar but she had a burden of promise and she was vunerableShe hold the letter and read it again and she smiled again, but it was a smile that tears were inadequate to express the sadness of her heart...her smile led her to tears...She sat on the floor and cried "nahi kesar aisa nahi ho sakta...mein tumse pyaar nahi kar sakti...nahi kar sakti"bo hooo ho, kitna emotional para hai yaar😭but very nicely written 👏 thanks dear

Next morning gulaal was preparing breakfast in the kitchen she saw kesar walking towards her..as he walked towards her...her heart beat accelerated...she was more shy than usual...a deep color glowed in her cheeks...her beautiful eyes were restless and she inhaled eagerly
Kesar stood at a arm stretch and said "gulaal" in the low and husky voice...as he called her name a new charm came in him his eyes shone and the shyness crept in him he he ab sharmaye kya hot jab chidiya chug gayi love letter😆 haan yaar ab blush blush khel rahe hai
He repeated "gulaal...kya tumhe mera letter mila"nahi to wo to maine patient ki prescription samajh kar usko de di 😆 mujhe to padhna aata hi nahiGulaal was nervous...she said in low voice avoiding him "nahi..mujhe kuch nahi mila"Kesar said thoughtfully "meine wanhi rakha tha"to phir to pakka keithu kha gayi hogi😆 mujhe bhi yahi lagta hai
Gulaal replied "par mujhe kuch nahi milamujhe kaam hai m..mein jaa rahi hun"
Kesar tried to stop her "gulaal mujhe tumse baat karni hai"
Gulaal replied "mein busy hoon bahot kaam hai mujhe"
Kesar said "bas 2 min"hein😲oye love confess karwana hai ki maggi banana hai😆 how much time it takes to confess 2 min is more than enough
Gulaal said "nahi mujhe hospital jaana hai" and then she left
The whole day gulaal avoided kesar...she didn't have the courage to face him...to face his eyes filled with undying love for her...kesar waited for her whole day but she didn't came...she came late in midnight and quickly went in her room
Next morning kesar came in the living area...gulaal was about to leave
Kesar came near and said "gulaal mujhe kuch baat karni hai"
Gulaal avoided him again "kesar mein late ho rahi hun"
Kesar hold her hand and said "gulaal ek baar meri baat to sun lo"
Gulaal pulled her hand and said "baad mein baat karenge"
She walked towards the door and saw Vicky and sony was standing outside...vicky and sony greeted her...She called them inside and went in the kitchen to bring tea and snacks for them
Vicky and sonu sat with kesar...kesar's mood was off
Vicky said "kesar college fest hai tujhe sab kitna yaad kar rahe hai..har saal tune participate kiya hai"
Kesar said "tum log jao mera mood nahi hai...mujhe work load jyada hai"han ji han ji ab to aur bhi ek-do dozen love letters likhne hain😉 dozen or hundreds😉
Sonu said "yaar kam to chalta rahta hai..par yeh sab baar baar nahi aata...tu aayega to kitna mazaa aayega college ka akhiri saal hai...common yaar"
Kesar still refused
Vicky said "kya kesar sab tujhse kitna pyaar karte hai..tu unke pyaar k liye nahi aayega"
As Vicky said it gulaal came there with tea and snacks
Kesar looked at gulaal and then said to "Vicky mein aaaunga"
Vicky and sonu left
Gulaal was also leaving
Kesar said "gulaal aaj sham 7 baje mein tumhara college fest mei intzaar karunga..yeh invitation hai aur isme venue hai...shaam 7 baje"
Gulaal said "mein busy hun"dhat teri😡kab se ek hi raag laga rakha hai,😡😆 ducks
Kesar said firmly "mein intzaar karunga"
Gulaal replied "meine kaha naa mein nahi aa sakti"
Kesar said "mein tumhare aane tak wanhi tumhara intzaar karunga"
And he left
In the evening kesar sonu and Vicky reached the college fest...kesar and his band came on the stage...the crowd was shouting "kesar"...kesar looked at the watch it was 7:20 and gulaal didn't came...he stood silent for some moment...he was searching her but she was not there...sonu and Vicky looked at each other...the crowd was getting restless as he was not performing...kesar was disappointed...
he waited for some more time and then addressed to crowd "hello Mumbai...did u missed me"haila ye to hamare neilu aka nithya ki line hai na😆 ekdum original sound karna chahiye
crowd said "yes"
kesar said "I missed u too...so kya sunana chahenge"shastyira sangeet😆 i want turba
ppl exclaimed "piyu maari song"
kesar said "gaana to mein bhi chahta hun par mere sur mera sangeet kisi aur k pass hai"
ppl asked "kaun hai woo"uska naam hai chaitu😳yeayi yeayi👏 u r claiming the ff wala kesar too...ok take him
kesar said "woo jisese mein pyaar karta hun"haila me😳 ok
ppl shouted wooow !
kesar replied back "yes your kesar is in love...aaj se ek saal pehle mein usese yanhi mila tha mujhe nahi pata tha in ek saal mein woo meri zindagi ban jaayegi
ppl asked woo yanha aayi hai"nahi ji filhaal to wo apni didi ke ghar gayi hai😆 aur neice k sang hai
kesar said "nahi par jab tak woo nahi aayegi mein gaa nahi paunga"
crowd was disappointed " oh no"
kesar said "doston aaj tak humne padha hai true loves always win...hume yahi bataya gaya hai sache pyaar karne waale k awaaz uske pyaar tak jarur pahunchti hai chalo aaj test kar lete hai...lets count to 10...agar who aayi to mein gaunga (sing)..nahi to.."
the crowd begin the countdown 10, 9 , 8, 7, 6, 5 , 4
kesar turned his back he felt the footstep of gulaal he hold the guitar and played piyu maari tune in it then sung
"piyu maari o piyari"
the crowd cheered...sonu and Vicky were extremely happy they spotted the flashlight on the crowd.gulaal came and stood in the corner...the crowd saw her and compeled her to climb the stage...gulaal was suprised...she didn't know what was happening and soon she was on the stage...kesar looked at her and sang the song...he always sang it beautifully...but today his emotions were directed towards her and this made the song more ecstatic and blissful he sang

he finshed the song and kneel down before her and said "I love u gulaal. I always loved u "ye to dhamakedar confession ho gaya👏 thanks u ji
and he confessed his love infront of 10000 ppl
gulaal was overwhelmed...she was speechless...the crowd went into frenzy they clapped tirelessly..some had tears in thier eyes...some of them shouted gulaal kesar...
Kesar was smiling through the tears in his eyes...gulaal looked around and she qucikly left the stage...Kesar was still standing there...vicky and sonu came near and they hugged kesar ye le gullu pehle hi yes bol diya hota to aaj ye din dekhna nahi padta😆chalo jo bhi ho hamari to balle balle ho gayi😆 haila second hug bhi waste😆

At night kesar came home and went near the swimming pool...he was relaxed his temaparament was calm and balanced...he was looking content
Suddenly gulaal came in the raised voice she asked" yeh sab karne k kya jarurat thi"
Kesar turned back and said softly "I love u gulaal...I love u"
Gulaal paused and said "mein tumse pyaar nahi karti"
Kesar replied "mat karo gulaal mein tumse nahi kah raha mujhse pyaar karo par mein tumse bahoot pyaar karta hun aur yeh baat tumhe batana bahoot jaruri thi"
Gulaal replied in anger "par kyu karte ho..."
Kesar replied "tum meri patni ho...kya mein apni patni se pyaar nahi kar sakta"
Gulaal replied "kaise patni aur kaise shaadi,,,yeh shaadi illegal hai humara samaj humari govt koi nahi manta is shaadi ko to mein tumhari patni kaise hui"
Kesar was hurt...he came near her and put his hand on her arms and pulled her close and asked "to kya feelings bhi illegal hai.mere emotions bhi galat hai.kaun batayega pyaar karni k right age kya hogi...kaun batayaga kis umar mein pyaar karna sahi hota hai ? tum..tumhara samaj yaa phir tumhari govt?"
Gulaal drop her eyelids and said "par meri vasant se shaadi hui thi"
Kesar still held her he said "to isese mera pyaar kaise kam ho gaya?...meri aur tumhari life mein koi bhi kyu naa aaya ho mera aaj tum ho meri haqeeqat ho gulaal"
he said earnestly "tum ho gulaal."
Gulaal freed herself and said "par tum vasant k chote bhai ho...kam se kam is baat ka khayal rakhana chahiye tha"
Kesar grabed her arm and looked into her eyes and said "tumse pyaar vasantbha k chote bhai ne nahi balki tumhare pati ne kiya hai.tumhe apni patni sweekar karne k baad hi meine tumse pyaar kiya hai gulaal aur agar tumhe phir bhi lagta hai k mujhe sharam aani chahiye is baat par to chalo mere saath"
And he took her to his room and stood infront of vasant pics kesar looked at his brother' pics and said vasantbha aap gulaal ko batayi...k.mein gulaal se pyaar karta hun..yeh baat meine aapko gulaal se pehle batayi thi...baatayi aap uuse ki mere pyaar galat nahi hai...aap k jaane k baad agar mein gulaal k haath tham kar zindagi bhar chalna chahta hun to kya galat hai isme...Batayi vasantbha"
And he turned around...gulaal had left...gulaal ran into her room and closed it...whole night she thought about kesar
Next morning gulaal went in panba's room
Panba looked her and called her in
Gulaal said "panba mujhe aapse baat karni thi"
Panba replied "kaho gulaal"
Gulaal said panba mein pune ma papa k pass jana chahiti hun"
Panba replied thek hai gulaal kuch din k liye apne ghar ho aayo
Gulaal looked at her and said "mein hamesha hamesha k liye waapas jaana chahiti hun panba"
Panba looked at her and said "yeh kya kah rahi ho gulaal?kya baat hai"
Gulaal said "panba mein jis wajah se is ghar mein rah rahi thi woo poora ho gaya hai...kesar ka business acha chal raha hai woo apni poori jimmedari uthane laga hai auar rewa uski shaadi bhi tay ho gayi hai...panba vasant ko diye hue dono vaade poore ho gaye hai"
She paused she had tears in her eyes...she said "panba ab aapko diye hue vaada ko nibhane k waqt aa gaya hai...waqt aa gaya hai k mein is bandhan se kesa ko azad kar du.."
Panba looked at her...she thought for a moment and then she said "gulaal mein kya kahu...mein kabhi nahi chahiti thi tu is ghar se jaaye...tujhe bahu banaa kar hamesha tujhe is ghar mein apne ankhon k samne rakhna chahiti thi...par halat k aage majboor ho gayi hun gulaal...Kash tera aur kesar ka rishta kabhi hua hi nahi hota...kam se kam yeh din to nahi dekhna padta...yeh samaj hum auratein par naa jaane kya kya bandishe (restrictions) laga deta hai aur hume manana padta hai par achi baat hai gulaal tujhe is unchahe rishte ko khatam karne k mauka hai...bahoot saari auratein aisa nahi kar paati aur saari zindagi unchahe rishte mein ghtuti rehti hai
gulaal tu sahi kar rahi hai...is rishte se azaad hokar hi tum log apne jeevan ko dhang se jee pauge...
Gulaal was silent she didn't have the power to tell now everything was changed...she was not the same gulaal her prespective her feelings were now different her relationship was now meaningful and blissful to her it wasnt forced relation anymore but she didn't have the courage to tell her probably she was guilty herself to fall for kesar
Panba said "khush rehna beta"
Gulaal took her leave and left for pune
She reached pune and rang the doorbell
Poonam opened the door and was pleasantly surprised to see gulaal poonam and revji embraced her daughter...they inquired about her and kesar but gulaal was stone like...she had a deep gravity in her face
Revji and poonam looked at her and asked "kya baat hai gulaal kuch problem hai"
Gulaal said "papa mein aap logo k pass hamsha k liye rehne aa gayi hun"
Revji and poonam were shocked they asked "kya hua hai beta"
Gulaal said in chocked voice "kya hua yeh mat puchiye papa aapne kaha than a k jab bhi mein wapas aana chahu aap mujhe aane denge apki beti ghar aana chahiti hai papa"
Revji and Poonam looked at her and didn't said anything
Poonam took her to her bedroom and asked her to rest
And then she asked revji" yeh sab kya ho raha hai 3 din pehle to sab thek tha achanak kya ho gaya"
Revji said "poonam pareshan mat ho lagta hai kesar aur gulaal ka jhagda hua hai...isliye aisa kaha rahi hai hum 1-2 din intzaar karte hain nahi to phir hum dekhenge hum kya kar sakte hain"
at night kesar returned home he looked for gulaal but didn't find her...he thought she was avoiding him so went in his room quietly
Next morning he saw rewa preparing breakfast..he asked "rewa gulaal kanha hai"
Panba said from behind "gulaal apne ghar chali gayi hai"
Kesar stood silent and then asked "kab aayegi"
panba said "nahi ab woo kabhi nahi aayegi"
Kesar was shocked
He said "kya yeh kya kah rahi hai panba?gulaal..ghar chod kar chali gayi..kyu..apne jaane kyu diya?"
Panba said "ise mein tum dono ki bhilaai hai"
Kesar didn't replied he stood up and started walking towards the door
Panba stopped him "kesar kanha jaa raha hai?"
But he didn't listenend and left the house
In pune gulaal was sitting in the terrace She could not stop thinking him as she was at her happiest wen he was around...now he was not there, a thick darkness veiled her eyes; she felt herself sinking..tears roused to her eyes and she closed her eyes and murmured kesarand she opened her eyes and saw kesar walking towards her...she quickly wiped her tears and her face grew stern and cold
Kesar came near and said "ghar chalo gulaal"
Gulaal stood up and said "kesar waapas jao"
Kesar repeated "ghar chalo gulaal"
Gulaal said "nahi..tum waapas jao"
Kesar said "plz gulaal mat karo aisa...I cant take it anymore...pehle jab chali gayi meine ek ek lamha kaise beetaya (spend) mein hi janta hun...ab tumse yeh dooriyan mein nahi bardasht kar paunga gulaal plz ghar chalo"
Gulaal looked at him and said "kaun sa ghar..aur kis haq se mein waha jau jab mein us rishte ko hi nahi manti to kyu jau mein uus ghar mein. Mein wanha sirf vasant k sapne ko poore karne k liye ruki thi aur ab mujhe koi jaroorat nahi jaane ki
Gulaal said "mein yeh shaadi nahi manti"
Kesar said "fine gulaal mat maano koi rishta..bhul jao humara koi rishta hai...par tum mere samne to rah sakti ho...uus ghar se tumhara rishta sirf meri wajah se to nahi hai...aur bhi bahoot saare log jude (attached hue hai tumse...gulaal agar tumhe mujhse takleef hai to I promise mein tumse kuch nahi kahunga...mein tumhe koi takleef nahi dunga...bas tum aa jao."
Gulaal said "bas kesar...tum har baar meri zindagi ka faisala nahi kar sakte tumne ek faisla mujhse bina puche kiya tha aur aaj uska nateeza sab bhugat (suffer) rahe hain...tum mujhse pyaar karte ho yeh meri problem nahi hai"
Kesar looked at her he was hurt and shocked he said "gulaal
Gulaal said "sach to yeh kesar us din tumne sindoor bhar kar meri zindagi banayi nahi balki meri zindagi kharab kar di..aur meri zindagi kharab karne k jimmedar tum ho"
Kesar had tears in his eyes " gulaal mein janta hun meine jaldbaazi mein yeh faisla liya tha...par sirf isliye k log tumhe kuch naa kahe...aur phir is shaadi k baad meine har pal sirf tumhari khushi chahi hai..sirf yahi socha hai k tumhe kaise khush rakhu...bahoot koshish k tumhe khush rakhe ki par phir bhi kami rah gayi
He continued "tumhare saath rehte rehte kab tumse pyaar kar beitha pata hi nahi chala... tum apni jimmedaari nibha rahi thi aur mein bina poche tumhare ehsaas mein badhane laga...galat tha mein mujhe tumse izaazat le leni chahiye thi...k mein tumse pyaar karu k nahi
And then he said in choked voice "haan gulaal yeh galti to ho gayi mein jaa raha hun gulaal aur pareshan nahi karunga" his heart was too full to speak he just left with tears in his eyes
And his gulaal was shattered
