I think Vedika preplanned the mad attack

My two cents are Vedika overheard Pamela wishing Ved had remained mad so that Nih would always be with Antariksha.

Probably that scoundrel Rahul will run away with the money and and then come back and still go ahead and marry Tara. Nih will perhaps then realise his schemes.
