Winds of change are beginning to blow in Maryaada… Lekin Kab Tak? With Devyani's past bare before Priya, she has got support and motivation from her daughter-in-law to stand up to her husband Brahmanand.

While the egotistical Brahma is full of himself, with a new promotion and everyone under his thumb at home, he is unaware of Devyani's decision to change her life.

A STAR Plus.in source elaborates, "In tonight's episode, SSP Brahmanand will finally get promoted to DIG and he will be on cloud nine. As Brahma had insisted that his entire family be present on the occasion of his promotion, Devyani had gone to fetch Vidya and everyone will be happy to see her at the function. Gaurav will be shocked to learn about Vidya's plight. He will also know that Karan manipulated and lied to him about Vidya. That will anger him. Later, Devyani will decide to take a huge step and will come to a decision which will shock Brahma."

Determined to change her life, Devyani says, "I have had enough. I kept mum all these years and suffered at the hands of my husband for the sake of my kids Aditya and Sweety- though Gaurav always had an inkling. I have decided to stand up for myself as my kids have grown up. I pretended that my marriage was perfect but this decision has cost me my pride, my soul and my happiness. I did what I had to do then, I was justified; but I have felt suffocated in this relationship all these years. Now due to Priya's help and motivation, I have got the courage to think about my life and myself. Priya has been a huge support and reiterated that life doesn't have to be this way and that I should stand up for my rights. I am going to rectify my mistakes. Like I told Vidya, giving up hope is not the solution to problems. Now, I have come to a decision and will follow it through no matter what. I am going to bring a change for the better of myself and my kids. I am not going to cower anymore."

Oblivious Brahma is thrilled with the events in his life. He is enjoying life and his affair with Uttara, while Devyani quietly suffers. He rules over his house and work. Life couldn't be better for him. "I am on a high with the promotion, especially since I deserve it. I won over Uttara too, which took a while and lot of hard work. I had never worked so hard to get a woman. Everything is going perfectly. My life is a bed of roses. Sure, Uttara is clinging a bit, but I like the fact that she didn't like that I ignored her. And the Minister too couldn't stop my promotion and was irked with it. I am indeed having the last laugh," smiles Brahmanand.

Priya states, "I was shocked to know that Ma had suffered so much and he (Brahma) is to be blamed. I was touched with Ma's confession. But when I she declared Uttara masi innocent in whatever happened between her and him (Brahma), I knew I had to do something. I pleaded with her to stand up against him and fight for justice. I understand she feared losing the most important thing in her life- her kids, but now they are grown up so she need not be scared."
