Part 69

Next day early morning she went to her house, she was excited that he will be back after a week, since their marriage it was the first time she was forced to stay away from him, previously it was her option. She wore a pink sari and as she had not slept properly last night she dozed off on the bed, thinking she will just close her eyes for a while.

When Maan came in the house he sensed her presence but was surprised that she did not come running to hug him, he quietly searched the house loosening his tie and belt in the procedure, as he entered the bed room, there was his wife sleeping peacefully with her head resting in the crook of her left arm, she had sandals on, he smiled and with much care took off her sandals and straightened her on the bed, she moved a bit but did not wake.

He has been coming from Delhi now, and the jet lag was still on, he changed and slipped in the covers beside her, she cuddled near him and he slept.

It was afternoon when she woke and found his head resting on her bosom and his hands tightly wound around her waist and legs on her thighs, he was all over her and sleeping like a log, she smiled and looking at the time instead of trying to rise closed her eyes cherishing his nearness, she had been missing for long. She slowly drifted back to sleep.

He moved a little and she woke up and found him staring at her with passion written all over his eyes, she could feel him on her and pulled him into a ever lasting kiss.

It was late evening when they decided to come out of the spread as their stomachs were grumbling food food, she had cooked the lunch which they missed, so he reheated it and they had their fill, as next day she had no classes due to mass bunk she decided to stay back, he called the warden and informed the same. It was the most longing night they spend together, he cursed himself for trying to distance from her, as it made him long for her more and more, same was her condition.

Next morning at breakfast he elaborated her about the London visit, and told her that they will probably get the work, he will leave for London next month after Holi, and if they get the project he will stay there for a month. Though she wished him luck and showed that she was very excited and happy that they were getting such a prestigious project, but deep inside she was horrified that he will go for a month.

The whole month was a roller coaster for them she helped him with the drawings the presentations and everything, but the thought of him going frequently overseas in near future feared her, but she was like "hoe stupid you are girl, chill down, nothing will happen to your hero. Though she never phrased her reluctance he sensed it and convinced her that nothing like plane crash happens, it's a rare trait and she will get used to it in coming future, oh how she wished she would be born in NT's place, a few years earlier, then she would have accompanied him everywhere just like NT accompanies Dev, but she was a way too young and was still in her 1^st year.
