The Holi festival was next week, it was hers, NT's Kripa's Prerna's and Muskan's first Holi after marriage, in just one year so many couples got married she wandered, it was decided that everyone will meet at Delhi. Maan would try to come before Holi from London.

Geet had a mass bunk for festival all north Indians from the 1^st year were going to there hometown, Geet also was planning to go to HSPur as she did not want to go to Delhi without Maan, so she went to HSPur 4days before Holi. NT has also come and both sisters were very happy seeing each other, Geet was very sad but did not discuss this with any one, she was missing Maan and she did not want to hamper there happiness by her stupid insecurities.

VikramJeet (VJ) came a day before Holi to take his Bhabhis with him to Delhi, it was he who noticed the sadness behind her smile, he dragged her to a corner

VJ: Bhabhi kya hua?

G: nothing

VJ: Geet, apne dost ko nahin bataogi?

G: VJ, I am very scared

VJ: why?

G: IDK, even Maan said it was silly of me to panic, before marriage also he used to go to London quite often

VJ: why are you scared?

G: the other day when he was going for the first tim eto London he said, that "seeing to the present transport conditions, it is possible that the plane crashes and you know its 99% time fatal" I am not able to take that out of my mind, I know its safe but still

VJ: don't worry Geet, your love is not that week even God does not separate lovers

G: but

VJ: no buts, now get ready we will leave for Delhi, bro will be there before the Holi is played, but yes he won't be able to manage for the holi fire

G: he's coming

VJ: yes he is, he did not tell you?

G: no, he was saying that he won't be able to manage

Geet burst into tears, she was feeling very low, and seeing her VJ thought that she is way to young to get married, bro aake samahalo apni Geet ko yeh mitti ki gudiya apke bina toot jayaegi

VJ: you will just 4 more years, they will fly like nothing

G: 4 years is a long time

VJ: when you both have a long 50-60 yrs to live together these 5 years will not matter, only 4-5% of the span

G: VJ

VJ: Geet, now quite, I want my naughty Bhabhi back, smile

G tried to smile but she was too sad at least she can't pretend in front of VJ who was not her devar but her friend

After few hours NT and Geet left with VJ, the Handa's promised to join them before holi fire is lit

At Delhi,

Everyone was there all the girls have come for this special Holi, Archana, Arohi, Parineeta, Kripa, Prerna and Muskan; NT and Geet were busy helping the ladies of the house, Aarambh insisted that Geet will dress up as NT's sister and she need not get dressed up as Khurana Bahu, reminding every one of the decision Maan took at Dev's marriage, though at first all were reluctant but they agreed.

Geet was helping in the kitchen; she did not feel like joining the gossiping group

In the hall, every one was talking, and telling them about their new sauraal and their rituals, Kripa and Muskan just talked a little but Prerna being a big mouth talked on and on, Archana many times tried to shut her up but she did not listen

P: my mother in law is very strict; she says that I should adorn all the symbols of marriage as now with me Anurag's life is also connected so I should always remember that all these are very important for Anurag's long life

Muski: so Prerna, that you should also not take Jiju's name as it is said that the number of times you take your hubby's name you take a minute of his life (giggled)

P: is it? Then I will not take his name, after all I am his only wife

Archu: Prerna all this is non sense, Beeji says all this is stupidity; wife and husband both have similar rights and responsibilieties

P: chill Archu Di, that is why they are allowing Geet to roam around like she is not married, she does not wear Sindoor, or Mangalsutra she does not even have bangles in her hands, and they say wearing a bichua (toe ring) is enough, OMG hope nothing happens to my bro

Just then they heard a loud noise.

Geet had come in with a tray of hot tea for all, and hearing Prerna say that she went numb and thetray i\which she was carrying fell down on her feet, she was numb with fear of loosing Maan, so numb that she did not realise that her feet were burnt by the hot tea, VJ and Dev rushed on hearing the thud Dev moved Geet back and she unknowingly stepped on the broken glass pieces, but that also did not hurt her, she was blank

VJ shouted: Nakul bring in some ice in a bucket and scooped Geet in his arms and rushed to seat her on the near by chair, NT ad other ladies came running hearing the chaos, NT was shocked to see her little sister's blank eyes, she held her hand they were as cold as ice

NT: VJ kya hua?

Savitri: Geet, Geet, Muskan isse kya hua?

Muski: aske Prerna she will tell you

Prerna who never liked Geet from day 1 blurted: nothing Maa, it is her nautanki to attract attention

Archu: shut up Prerna, look at her, what you think she is, Prerna have some sense she is not even 19 and you are saying such idiotic things about her

P: what did I say, and who asked her to listen to what we were talking?

Parineeta who was quite till now spoke: Prerna, enough the problem with you is that you are jealous of her getting all the freedom

Arohi: yes, you are right she is jealous, that her Saas is not like her Maa, and her husband not like Maan or Dev or VJ

P: shut up you all are taking sides of this chit

They argued for long, Dev could not take it any more and shouted

D: shut up everyone, she needs a doctor, she is not responding and you all are

P: oh, if she is so worried about my veer, then why does she not leave her studies and live with him?

Suddenly Geet got up took her legs out of the ice bucket and ran to the enterance, her bloodied feet leaving marks of her footsteps in blood on the floor behind her, she ran to the entrance and fainted in Maan's arms.
