Vishal Singh as Sid!!!

I completely forgot to mention about Vishal and his effect on Astitva in my yesterday's update. So here it is!!!

Vishal is a very good actor, i have seen him when he was very young. I remember a serial called Aashiyan which was coming in DD. He was a very smart guy, with great acting capabilities.

Yesterday he made his entry into Astitva as Sid. As all had thought, he appears very old for the character. That too, the difference is felt more as Abbas Khan was very young. The girls portraying Astha and Sia's characters are very young too. So both of them do not match his age.

I still cannot say whether he gave a better performance than Abbas. The scene of yesterday's had no great acting potential. We have to wait and see if he can give a power packed performance close to the other leading characters like Nikki, Varun, the person playing Shaguna, others too....

So let us wait and watch. Wait for more info on this as we see Vishal more in action....

I did not see yesterday's episode but my 2 cents on the replacement.

Sonu's character is older than both Sia and Aastha. As far as I can remember he was a school going kid so the age difference has to be abt 5+ years at least (added to the fact that Sid is already a doctor and has some experience). In that context I think that the previous Sid Abbas was quite young.

Vishal is def a good actor. I remember seeing him in Dekh Bhai Dekh and he was quite good at that. But that was a comedy and Sid is totally different from Sanju (that was his name is that serial). So it remains to be seen as to how he performs here in a serious role.

Sorry guys, but Vishal has always managed to unimpress me, ever since his beginning days of Gul Gulshan Gulfaam to the Renuka Shahane serial where he played her botfriend....

infact this guy appears to be of abhimanyu's age (abhi wihtout the beard)

I haven't seen his entry yet.. I agree with you Sree, from what I read in your updats I can understand that we have to wait for some time until we know if he is living upto the charechter..

i just cannot stop laughing 😆........innocent indian comment is really humourous.

I used to like him too...had also seen him in couple of ads...sunny etc....but now hez got old....put on lots of weight too...
