Look things like motherhood and marriage are also important but right now Anandi needs to stand on her own feet!
She will be crushed further if she is asked to marry again and go through it all over again. Let her get over Jagya and let her first forget and move on from the trauma of child marriage.
Also, this whole thing will then keep continuing like a vicious cycle! What is the guarantee that she will not be ditched again and labeled a gawar if she marries again without completing her education? What future will she be able to secure for her child if she herself stayed a puppet in other's hands and could never do anything for her own self?
I also want to know why should marriage be the only dead end for a girl's life? Is it wrong to stand on your own feet, get an education or have a career? Is it wrong to dedicate your life to a higher cause?
Are people like Mother Teresa, Irom Sharmila or Anna Hazare any less than anyone? They never married or had kids. Are their lives useless, meaningless or incomplete? Is it wrong if someone wants to do something for society? Is marriage and kids compulsory for all?
When you've been deserted by your husband, would you focus on rebuilding your life, or moving on or would you get married again immediately?
Also is marriage necessary to become a mother? I mean, look at Sushmita Sen and her girls. Is she any less than a biological mother to her girls? Can't Anandi adopt a child in future even if she does not want to marry? Are traits of caring and loving and bringing up a child always ingrained in a woman or is it a sperm which puts these traits in her?
Bhairon's first reaction was to get Anandi remarried! It was Anandi herself who told him she did not want to go through it all again!
Shouldn't it be left to Anandi to decide for herself whether she wants to marry or not?
Is education or a career only accessories or luxuries? Are they not important for survival and security? What is the guarantee for Anandi's future if she still doesn't stand on her feet and remains at the mercy of another man hoping he will not ditch her like Jagya did?
