So true... Jagya is such a BIG hypocrite. I hope Anandi finds a suitable match and makes him jealous enough to ruin his own life. (Waise life ruin karne mein daactar sahab ne koi kasar chhodi nahi hai 😆 )

This is the original story of othello - which CVs have adapted for Balika vadhu.
All this really does happen in othello and is in the original text.

Really tinoo, this was really in the original text? Who was Othello's mistress? I did not know Othello had a mistress, could you please tell me the Act and Scene number where these sequences occur? I had last read Othello some 6 years back, but I really don't remember this plot there. Please tell me the name of the mistress. The only mistress I knew of in Othello was Bianca but she was a mistress of Cassio, not Othello.

Also, as far as I remember Brabantio (Desdemona's father) never reconciled with Desdemona. The last thing he said was to Othello, warning him that a woman who can be unfaithful to her father can be unfaithful to her husband also. So watch out!!

I don't remember Othello scene by scene, so please please please let me know where this particular instance happens in the plot.😛 Dying to know...

Wow in which act does this happen? I read it a long time ago. I remember Iago hinting at one point that he suspected Othello of sleeping with his wife, but wasn't that before marriage, plus the suspicion wasn't confirmed? If what you say is true, Othello is an even shittier character than what I remember😆
