Pratigya : Her mind regarding this track

hi MKAPians,


it has been so many days since me or anybody for that matter has made a post on P n her thoughts or POV on this kidnap issue where as we have had so many posts on K n his POV in this whole issue...so all who would like to be fair to all the characters in MKAP n not just chant about one particular character and has accepted every character as they r n the storyline as the CVs sees the best , can join in and state what is P's POV as depicted by CVs n also ur take on it...

here is mine .😊

we know that K is wrong here (in a general humanity POV) ...n P is shocked n shattered by his behavior...she was standing rooted to her spot in utter shock when K walked up the stairs with the crying girl ...only when all the TN members went behind K, did she shook herself from her shock n ran behind them...n she was the first to ran behind him shouting his name n asking him about the girl...she was flabbergasted to learn that the girl is kidnapper's daughter n she was shocked that K went n kidnapped her forcefully ... she tried to talk sense to him but he refused n when she found that thakurain is supporting him in this wrong act , she went for the help of dadi expecting that the elder woman would see what's right n do accordingly...but alas GD rejected her plea , being a mother n a true thakurain... n P decided to free the girl herself...but she was stopped by her husband n was threatened of dire consequences if she didn't stay out of it...n she couldn't believe her ears...but being a dutiful wife she agreed to obey his order...by killing her own self ...by choosing not to act for the sake of what's right n what's good for a moment , but giving importance to her husband n his word n also as a wife who very well know her husband's anger , she did the right thing ATM...

once inside their room , she expressed her disbelief n shock n pain at his action n was again silenced ...n her concern for K n the plight of the girl grew...also she was worried of what was happening in her home...n she couldn't sleep...she saw how K went one step ahead n locked the girl up with no food or water n still maintained her silence , letting him vent his anger out...then in the morning when she saw the girl hurting her MIL, a MIL who has always tortured her n plotted to ruin her life , she went n helped her MIL , being the kind girl she is...but when she knew the whole story of what amma did to the girl , she reacted instinctively ...she reminded amma of why they were keeping that girl there n how amma wanted SS to be fine in kidnapper's custody but behaved like animal to the girl...she urged thakurain to behave in a civilized manner so that others too will behave equally only to be insulted again by her MIL...but not caring about it P took charge n asked piyasia to give food n water to the girl ...all the while her husband stood mute...

she saw how K was being resolute in his decision n was irritated n sad n angry at him...n when he asked her to spit it out whatever she had in her mind, she expressed her hurt n pain at his wrong action , at his wrong behavior...she who was so proud of him to be diff from his father n son was shocked to see that he was just like them...

P unlike other women in the TN is a strong woman...she doesn't bow down before the brutality of men or before wrong n evil ...she fights it or atleast gives it a try...she values her self respect more than anything else unlike kesar , thakurain etc who thinks that getting shouted at n getting prasadi n doing ur husbnd bidding is what it takes to be a good wife...P , unlike them voices her concern when her husband goes the wrong way or hurts any innocent ... n tries to show him the right path, urges him to take up the right path...all this she does without compromising her self respect... n she speaks her mind , with no holding back if she sees any wrong, whomever does it...she refrained from speaking up until K was ready to listen and asked her to tell what's in her mind...n that's a big plus here IMO as she didn't try to make him listen forcefully ...she kept her silence keeping in mind his anger n acted only when he asked her to say her mind, the very husband who had asked her to shut up n keep herself away from this kidnap matter...


PS : those who r fond of bashing (both character / actor) , pls refrain from posting in this thread

Dharkan very nice post. i also agree with u. I think from the beginning the character of pratigya is critised more and on the spotlight for a long. As a woman i would say Prats is strong and she is supporting and listening to her husband as a wife. but what krishna did is wrong and then the way he is threatening her is very bad. we all know once Prats was also a victim like this. so krishna has to know that. so in this situvation prats will have more sympathy to that girl since she was also in the same place few years ago. i think prats has to take strong step and a bold action this time with out talking. i still wonder why the cv's r not showing the growing up of kriya relationship and betterment of their life. like krishna trying to learn,his job,prats writing i think like many other tracks they left it ope and r introducing too many new characters at a time.

@ bold : exactly , P has gone through this trauma ...even worse...she was alone in a dark room , every moment fearing what will happen next ...atleast sunahari is in a house where there r kind n good hearted people too to take care of her...i am not minimizing the ordeal of sunahari here nor trying to minimize the mistake of K...yes, P is bound to have sympathy for the girl n also whatever reason , kidnapping is a crime ...i think P should remind K of what she had gone through when she was kidnapped n how the society looked at her...even K should remember how P was insulted by his parents

@ red : exactly...K working or both kriya working is long overdue ... n agree 100000% on the growth of K n P , both as individuals n as a couple...may be the CVs will show the working tracks later ...the introduction of too many characters at this time is to give ASji proper rest, i think...once he is back , i think the CVs will show SS-G track ...n hopefully we will see kriya niwas 😳

Not only I respect your efforts to bring Pratigya's POV, but the way you explained it to all 👏, about her stance on this issue and her way of tackling K and all is just thought provoking. Most of the time we are lead to believe that brute force and senseless actions results in a much bigger damage then finding the solution of those problems, which Prats attempts to prove time and again but to no avail. Every thing fall of of deaf ears. 😆

Dhak Its is the norms of our society, the thin line that divide the right from wrong "is placed now a days where an individual wants it to place " In general there is no respect for decency in a TV soap any more these days, it simply doesn't attract,

The more aggressive, the more abusive a character gets, the more they will be loved. So I believe that Pratigya is the victim of such a mind set and will all ways be criticized and even be harassed by her own husband like when he asked her to keep her mouth shut when she asked him to not to take law in his own hands, as we saw in her attempts to do the right things the rights way.

But the biggest consolation for those who supports Pratigya's ways is that in the end sins or evil never wins. She suffers, she shows a lot of patience and uses words to knock sense into all from stopping them from reckless and senseless actions, instead of joining them in plotting and hatching demeaning acts to hurt your own people.

We are all proud of you Partigya for the ways you have chosen to handled and help your husband even when he made grave mistakes, makes you different and lovable from all the other female leads. This combination of Water and Fire is called KirYa. the most unique but the most lovable pair that evolved from this fictional soap that we all love so much.👏

For the growth of k and p they need to leave TN and survive in the outside world and that can only happen during the saga track as ss might throw them out for opposing saga marriage and k might see his fathers real face.So hope anupamji return soon and we have independent kriya .

hmm yaara i try to see things from both krishna and pratigya pov not from only one for me krishna is not completely wrong yup the kidnapping of an innocent girl was not right but look at his situation he thinks that kidnapper got the money and stll he did not realeased ss he dont know the game plan by shakti and mamaji thats why he is not trusting kidnapper that he will return ss unless and untill he has some dear one of makhnu singh to black mail him every action of his telling that he knows he is hurting pratigya he is not doing right but still he is doing it for his fathers sake he knows and prats knows that he will not do anything bad to sunehri.

as for pratigya yup she is behaving realistically in this whole matter uworried for her hubby plus understanding his anger not arguing with him to raise his anger IMO she was giving him silent treatment to make him understand that she is upset as she knows k loves her and will understand her pov and its obnly her who can tell him whats right whats wrong i loved how she very first time today told k her man ki awaz regarding her fil and bil i know its bad to use such words for her fil but if fil is like this then its all ok who trated her like animal when k left home yet she is thinking about his safety brilliant👏

inshort k and p has to learn a lot of things from each other as both r not perfect yet bith have immense good qualities to attract each other

me too try to see both K n P's POV n that's why i said specifically that what K did was wrong in the general humanity POV...he is right in his POV...he only has seen n done like this whole life, always hearing n believing n seeing this kind of activities which ofcourse is not his fault ...n also he knows that this kind of tit for tat would only work with goons like makhnu ...n also he is so concerned for his father...n i don't find any fault in his POV...but what he did is wrong...

actually i created this post bec of 2 reasons...

1. wanted to have a post from P's POV.
2. already there r many posts on K' POV n there is no point in repeating it

for me K is still a better man even after committing this kidnap ...bec one thing he doesn't know where makhnu is hiding n where his father is ATM...but makhnu knows exactly where K has kept his daughter n the darpok is relying on sankata to rescue his daughter rather than being a man and coming to TN n fight it with K ...but as the makhnu is hiding from krishna n not coming in open , n even after K challenging him to say his palce of hiding so that he could come there n settle this matter once n for all , he is a coward...where as K is not a coward...true , he has kidnapped an innocent girl to settle the matter , but he is also ready to fight it with makhnu ...he is only keeping the girl as a bargain, which ofcourse is wrong , but not hurting her ...

yes, kriya needs to grow up fast
