Summary of the interview
Kritika states that TV is a lot safer and cleaner than films since there is no casting couch in Television industry like in Bollywood. So actresses on TV arent exploited and can work more freely. Its been quite a long time since she is working for TV and never once has she come across such an incidence which can make her say that exploitation occurs in TV industry too unlike in Bollywood where we hear such news very often.
She seems to be more interested in politics as compared to other actresses and has her own opinion on certain issues. Regarding the corruption, she says that the Bill made by politicians wont create any difference. Everyone needs to support Anna Hazare's protest/campaign once again.To abolish corruption from the nation and for the Lokpal Bill to be successful, a drafting committee should be formed where there r no politicians or corrupt people.Rather it must comprise of the Retired judge and similar powerful people and the people from all the different sectors.
About her career, she says that like other actors, she too wants to work in films. But she is still learning and would turn to movies only after that.She prefers youth-related shows and that is the reason she will be seen playing similar character in an upcoming show.Today children can achieve success in whichever field they want if their parents are supportive-and its all because of her parents' support that Kritika is where she is today. Her parents are always there with her and are her biggest fans.
Kritika says that the craze of television is now fast increasing and it has the reach to every household. Actors feel their future secure in TV and even big Bollywood stars r working in it.
She loves watching new movies and wants to work with Shahrukh Khan though she has done a talk show with him (which talk show?😕 are they referring to that SBS segment?) Just Dance is her current favorite show and she also loves to watch Educational Tour in Discovery Channel.
