I thought I would do an update from the beginning; I will go back and put the videos and also pictures along with it. I hope you guys enjoy it =) .. I just recently started to watch this show and got very addicted to it!

About Saath Nibhaana Saathiya…
Saath Nibhaana Saathiya is the story of a the saas-bahu relationship retold through a young and simple girl Gopi's point of view. Raised by her loving Mama and tyrannical mami, Gopi has never found true love of a mother and craves the same love from her would be MIL. Gopi's life is ruled by her Mami Urmilaben and street smart cousin Rashi who keep undermining her and have kept her like a servant. Gopi has no ambitions and is uneducated. Her only dream is to have a loving husband and in-laws.
Kokilaben Modi is a strong willed and vile woman whose dream is to become a MIL and rule her DIL.Unlike Kokilaben; Hetal is a simple woman who tries to keep the family together. Koki has raised her son Aham to only listen to her and have made him into a egomaniacal and workaholic guy who doesn't see beyond his mother and will get nothing come in his way to success. Kokilaben's husband Parag is a good for nothing loser and the reason Kokilaben has been so strict with Aham's upbringing is that she didn't want her son to become like his father.Koki also feels that if her husband would have done well she would have got more importance in the family. Hetal's son Jigar on the other hand is sweet and simple like his mother and father Chirag and wishes good for everybody. Jigar is not as ambitious as Aham and works under Aham.
Baa is a sweet MIL of hetal and koki whom everyone loves and respects but koki never listens to her and does what she wants. The story begins with Kokilaben's search for the perfect bahu for her son Aham. She wants a simple and docile girl, she can rule over and her search ends with Gopi.
Gopi's cousin Rashi, manipulates her way into the house and marries Jigar, her only motive being being to rule over the simple MIL Hetal and husband Jigar…Gopi being Gopi has no clue what awaits her in her sasural. What will happen when Gopi and Rashi enter their sasural.
Gopi
An innocent, docile girl who has few expectations and is content with the simple things that family life has to offer. She is very fond of her her Mama and Mami (Jitubhai and Urmila Ben) whom she stays with after she lost her parents at an early age. She has no big dreams, the only regret that she has in life in that she is uneducated. But never cribs about it. Maami treats her very badly, almost treats her like a servant but then Gopi does not say a word. She very happily does what she is asked to as she feels that this is her responsibility towards her home.
Rashi
A flamboyant, urban girl of today, she believes in living life to the fullest. She doesn't like to take up too many responsibilities, but is capable of going to any lengths to make her dreams come true. She does not believe in any rights and rituals and is very full of herself. She is the apple of her mother's eyes and she thinks that life is full of fun and game.
Aham
A 27 Year old man of today's age, he is the son of Koki Ben and Parag Bhai. He is a workaholic and believes in himself. Though full of sanskaar he is a little insensitive and like this because of his mother. He is a mamma's boy and blindly follows whatever his mother has to say to him. He is the one handling the entire Modi empire.
Jigar
He is a soft hearted boy, 25 years of age, son of Hetal Ben and Chirag Bhai. Jigar adores his baa and can do anything for her. He is very fond of his mother but scared of his father. He is a little lazy but its more because he loves to take life as it comes. He is not hyper about things and takes it easy.
Kokila Modi
A strong headed woman of around 40 years of age who wants things to be in her control and expects things to go the way she wants them to. She loves her son and has kept him also in her control and thinks that she is responsible for making him the man that he is today. She is very pure from her heart but it's just that she is a strict disciplinarian. She wants her daughter in law to listen to her and wants her to be as docile as a cow. Hence will choose Gopi over Rashi for Aham.
Parag Modi
A nice man by nature, of around 47 years of age, loves to live his life and knows the nature of his wife but does not say much as he wants to be happy in life. Somewhere down the line, he is a little scared of his wife, more so, because of her shouting and giving lecture than anything else.
Hetal Modi
A soft hearted woman of around 43 years of age and a very homely and a total motherly figure. She is also very docile and a complete opposite of Koki Ben, even though she is the Jethani of the Modi household, it always appears that she is the devrani and Koki the jethani. But Hetal has no grudges against all of this and does her work very affectionately. She is a woman who does not even treat servants badly and feels bad when Koki does the same but as always can't say anything about it.
Chirag Modi
A man who believes in hard work, he is a strong pillar of the Modi Empire. He is also a family man but gives more important to work.
Baa
A very sweet and polite old woman who is loved and respected by everyone
Damini breaks the marriage
Episode : 26
Everyone is shocked when Daamini declares that will not let Sonal to marry Jigar. Hetal is shocked when Daamini scolds Jigar for trying to cheat on Sonal with Rashi. Jigar questions Sonal for not clearing her doubts before. Urmila pretends to scold Rashi in front of everyone for ruining the family's reputation. Everyone is shocked when Jigar agrees to marry Rashi.
Marriage Ceremony

Hetal and Chirag defend Jigar's decision to marry Rashi with Kokila. Everyone is happy to see Jigar marrying Rashi and Aham marrying Gopi. Gopi and Rashi's bidaai rasam takes place. Hetal promises Urmila to take care of Rashi. Pannah gifts puppets and Aham's first letter to Gopi. Umang breaks up with Kinjal as she did not stop Gopi and Aham's marriage.

Rashi is irritated when Kokila asks Gopi to do her gruhapravesh first as Aham is elder to Jigar. Kokila lambastes Rashi for misplacing her godi. Rashi is furious at Kokila when she asks her to seek Gopi's blessings. Gopi is stunned when Baa asks her to read Doha shlok from Ramayan.
Jigar is hurt

Everyone is impressed with Gopi singing the Doha shlok. Kokila warns Gopi not to forget her favour and to stand by Aham forever. Rashi calls Urmila and complains about Kokila taunting her. Jigar is hurt with Rashi's changed behaviour. Aham is irritated with Anita's call.
Gopi is heartbroken

Gopi is heartbroken when Aham ignores her and sleeps on their first night. Everyone is impressed to see Gopi doing the morning puja. Kokila is furious at Gopi for trying to cover Rashi's faults. Rashi apologises to Jigar for not waking up early. Kokila scolds Rashi for having breakfast before Jigar.

Gopi requests Baa to teach her to prepare green tea for Aham. Rashi is happy when Hetal decides to help her in preparing breakfast. Kokila scolds Rashi for not following the rules of the house. Kokila gives Gopi expensive jewellery and saris to wear for the mooh dikhai rasam. Rashi feels jealous to see Gopi wearing more jewellery than her.

Kokila lambastes Gopi for ruining her reputation in front of her friends. Rashi puts the blame on Gopi in front of Hetal. Gopi apologises to Kokila, but refuses to forgive her. Kokila makes Gopi wear all her jewellery and asks her not to remove it until next day. Gopi finds it difficult to walk with all the heavy jewellery.

Rashi pretends to sympathise with Gopi's punishment. Kokila feels insulted when Hetal gives her money as Gopi's shagun. Kinjal puts a dead lizard in the dish prepared by Gopi. Kokila lambastes Rashi and Gopi for being irresponsible. Gopi is heartbroken when Aham refuses to eat the dish prepared by her.

Aham scolds Gopi for getting aarti inside his room as he is allergic to smoke. Rashi pretends to have headache so that she can skip the household chores. Hetal is touched to see Jigar's concern towards Rashi. Gopi is shocked when Aham refuses to have breakfast made by her. Kokila taunts Gopi for not taking care of Aham.

Kokila is irritated to know that Baa is teaching Gopi ways to woo Aham. Urmila is shocked to know that Gopi is harassing Rashi in Modi Bhawan. Rashi is hurt when Aham gives his old car to Jigar. Kokila is shocked when Aham praises Gopi's cooking. Chirag scolds Jigar for spending too much money on shopping. Kinjal confronts Gopi and accuses her of being a gold-digger,who married Aham for his money.

Kinjal decides to teach Gopi a lesson when Gopi requests her to start their relationship afresh. Rashi is irritated when Jigar refuses to buy a new car for her. Kinjal calls up a jeweller in Gopi's name and purchases a necklace worth Rs 5 lakh. Kinjal lies to Gopi saying Aham sent her the expensive jewellery. Aham calls the jeweler and finds out that Gopi ordered it.

Aham is shocked to overhear Kinjal and Rashi's conversations. Gopi is stunned when Aham reveals her the truth about his love for Anita. Aham is shocked to know that Gopi is illiterate. Aham slaps Gopi for lying to him about the necklace and about her illiteracy.

Gopi cries and tells Hetal the truth about Aham and her relationship. Hetal hides the truth from Kokila. Rashi is irritated as she is asked to do all the household chores instead of Gopi. Aham avoids Gopi and leaves without having breakfast. Baa is shocked to see Gopi's condition and blames herself for it. Rashi is curious to find out the reason behind Gopi's changed behaviour.

Gopi apologises to Aham and requests him not to ignore her.

Gopi is stunned when Aham tells her that she can never win over his love. Urmila asks Rashi to buy her gold earrings. Rashi lies to Jigar about Urmila's health and asks him to give her money to buy medicines. Hetal asks Rashi to invite her parents for the Satyanarayan pooja. Gopi expresses her concern with God and requests him to solve her problems. The preparations are in full swing for the Satyanarayan pooja. Rashi plans to tell Jigar to start his own business and to leave the Modi Bhawan.

Urmila is shocked when Rashi reveals the truth about the property papers. Gopi pleads with Urmila to take her away from her in-laws house. Urmila advises Gopi not to leave her in-laws house. Urmila promises to make Rashi get her share of property.

Kokila is happy as Aham gives her the money instead of Gopi. Urmila pretends to sympathise with Gopi and asks her to leave Aham. Urmila is happy when Gopi decides to follow her plan. Urmila is happy as Gopi listens to her and refuses to help Baa.

Kokila scolds Gopi for applying mehendi to escape from doing household chores. Rashi is disappointed when Jigar gifts her flowers instead of an expensive gift. Kokila is irritated with Gopi's negligence in doing household work.

Rashi and Urmila are shocked when Kokila arranges for Urmila to leave the house. Kokila taunts Urmila and gives her gifts. Gopi expresses her concern with Rashi regarding Urmila's plan. Kokila is surprised to see Rashi's sudden change in attitude. She lambastes Gopi for not wearing sindoor and bindi. Aham throws Gopi out of the room and refuses to listen to her pleas. Baa gives Gopi her sindoor's box to help her out.

Kinjal is irritated when Baa asks her to watch the marriage CD when Aham and Jigar are at home. Aham is surprised when Jigar asks him for an advance in salary. Kokila supports Aham when he chooses to work instead of watching his marriage video. Kinjal is shocked to see her's and Umang's video instead of the marriage scenes in the CD. She lies to everyone about CD being corrupt.

Kokila taunts Gopi for taking care of Jigar instead of Aham. Gopi also refuses to eat breakfast as Aham did not eat. Kinjal scolds Umang for sending their intimate moment's video to her house. She is shocked to know that Umang did not send the video. Rashi is irritated when Gopi confesses that she cannot hurt Aham and Kokila anymore. She ruins the clothes which Gopi had ironed. Aham's secretary asks Gopi to send a file urgently to Aham. Aham praises Jigar's hardwork and promises to give him extra payment for it. Rashi is happy when Kokila scolds Gopi for not ironing the clothes properly.

Jigar is surprised to see Rashi not appreciating his gift of gold bangles. Hetal is irritated when Kokila scolds her for appreciating Rashi over Gopi. Kinjal is scared with an anonymous caller who asks for the CD. Gopi is surprised to know that Hetal knows about her fast. Aham is surprised when Gopi helps him in his work.

Gopi is hurt when Aham scolds her for ironing his clothes and trying to take care of his needs. Jigar explains to Rashi that he idolises Aham and would never want to go ahead of him. Everyone praises Jigar's choice in giving gifts for Rashi. Aham is stunned when Kokila asks him and Gopi to perform a ritual of writing their names on the utensils. Rashi is irritated when Kokila insists on writing Aham and Gopi's names before hers. Baa cries reminiscing her past and Gopi consoles her. Hetal gives souvenirs of the ritual to Rashi and Gopi. Rashi complains to Urmila about Baa and Gopi's closeness. Kinjal is shocked when a guy gives her a steel plate on which hers and Umang's names are written.

Rashi confronts Gopi for preparing sheera for the family and asks her not to. Gopi is shocked when Rashi damages the utensils on which Gopi and Aham's name is written. Kokila is infuriated when she sees Gopi selling the utensils to a man. Gopi conceals the truth from everyone. Kokila stops Hetal and Baa from defending Gopi. Gopi is heartbroken when Kokila sells Gopi's bhangar and gives her its money. Rashi is worried when Kokila promises to find out the truth. Kokila locks Gopi in the room and warns everyone not to open the lock. Rashi sneaks into Gopi's room and asks her to run away from the house.

Kokila explains the reason behind returning Gopi's parents' photo to Gopi. Rashi is irritated to see Baa praising Gopi. Gopi decides to leave Modi Bhawan as Aham is not ready to accept her as his wife. Rashi is irritated when Jigar tells that she can never be like Gopi. Kinjal is shocked to know that the Mehtas have sent marriage proposal for her.

Gopi is stunned when Rashi adds colour to Aham's white shirt. Baa and Hetal are shocked to see Aham's white shirt to be colourful. They wash Aham's white shirt to help Gopi. Rashi is shocked to see Aham's white shirt to be spotless. She is irritated to know that Baa and Hetal are helping Gopi.

Hetal and Baa advise Gopi not to be negligent in her work and earn a bad name. Kinjal is shocked to know that the Mehtas are coming home to see her. Rashi feels jealous when Kokila gives Gopi major chunk of work. Kokila is furious when Kinjal refuses to marry. Urmila is is shocked to know from Rashi that Hetal and Baa are helping Gopi. Kinjal snaps at Gopi and asks her to stay away from her life. Rashi is irritated when Jigar asks her to gift one of her new saris to Kinjal. Gopi plans to gift a necklace to Kinjal.

Aham lambastes Gopi for pretending show concern towards Kinjal. She is happy when Kokila asks her to give the necklace to Kinjal. Gopi expresses her concern with Kokila about Kinjal being depressed. Kokila is shocked to see Kinjal crying and consoles her. Kinjal is shocked to learn that Kokila knew about Aham's love for Anita before his marriage. Kokila scolds Rashi for gossiping with her mother instead of finishing the assigned work. All are happy to meet the Mehta family. Rashi replaces the shagun's fresh fruits with the rotten ones.

Kokila feels insulted when the Mehtas enquire about Parakh's profession. Kinjal is irritated when the Mehtas enquire about her culinary and singing skills. Hetal and Baa are stunned to see rotten fruits in the basket and quickly change them. Gopi is stunned when Kokila lambastes her for trying to ruin Kinjal's marriage proposal. Gopi is scared when Kokila decides to teach her a lesson. Urmila is happy when Rashi tells her about Kokila blasting Gopi. Hetal and Baa plan to talk to Gopi about her blunder. Kokila warns Hetal, Baa and Rashi not to interfere in Gopi's matter.

Rashi is surprised when Kokila gives her and Gopi a task list to do every day. Rashi is worried when Kokila insists on making Rashi and Gopi follow the task list. Rashi is scared when Kokila asks her to prepare masala buttermilk. Kokila catches Rashi spoiling Gopi's work. She taunts her for not being capable to do the assigned work. Rashi plans to take Mani's help in preparing masala buttermilk but Kokila ruins her hope.

Gopi is stunned when Aham decides to have dinner after Kokila calls him. Kokila witnesses the tension between Gopi and Aham. Aham is irritated when Gopi comes to serve him dinner. Rashi is confused about how to prepare masala buttermilk. Kokila scolds Rashi for ruining the masala buttermilk. She insults Rashi for being incapable of handling the kitchen. Jigar and Hetal try to console an upset Rashi. Rashi complains against Kokila with Hetal. Hetal confronts Kokila and requests her not to compare Gopi with Rashi. Gopi is happy when Kokila asks her to do embroidery on Aham's handkerchief. Urmila is stunned to know about Rashi's situation in Modi Bhawan. She asks Rashi to do a pooranmasi pooja. All agree to do the pooranmasi pooja for Rashi. Kokila insists on Gopi preparing the prasad for the pooja. Hetal and Rashi are hurt when Kokila taunts them. Kokila scolds Rashi for trying to take Gopi's help for menial jobs. Rashi empties the food kept in the cooker and hopes for it to burst when Kokila opens it. Urmila explains to Rashi about the cooker plan. Rashi is scared when Kokila overhears her conversation with Urmila. Rashi is worried about her plan being successful. She is scared when Kokila asks her to get the supari from the kitchen. Rashi is worried when Gopi and Kokila go to the kitchen. All are shocked to see the cooker bursting in the kitchen.
