We had earlier reported that Deewana group from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's team and Seema Jha from Sonu Nigam's team were in bottom two last week. However there were no eliminations as the judges felt that both Deewana group and Seema Jha deserved to be in the finals in Sony's X Factor. However, this week they battled it out in the face-off round wherein Deewana group got eliminated.

A source says, "Deewana group and Seema Jha were in bottom two last week but the judges used their power wherein they could avoid eliminations for a week. But this week they met again and after the face-off round Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Deewana group got eliminated."

The episode will go on air on 19 August.

Wow that is sad. But I would hate to lose Seema Jha too.

Seema is unique and is young with great potential.
Deewana Group has been seen and heard by all so their market value will go up. Expect them on road shows too n they will make good money.
The film industry will want them too.

I loved Deewana group a lot and it is indeed sad to see them go but I kinda had a feeling they would be eliminated. This cant be the last we will be seeing Deewana. Iam 100% sure they will get heaps of shows etc.

im uber dissapointed with the elimination...i didnt want deewane gone...it syould have been nirmitee or geet...but i know geet being in the finals is only plausible because there has to be one from each team...lol...which really sucks big time eh?
