Star Plus continues to lead the Hindi GEC space but it saw a major dip in GRPs this week as it dipped from 304 to 277.

Colors saw its GRPs fall by 33 as it reached 236 GRPs.

Sony, was one of the gainers this week as it displaced Zee as the number three GEC with 195 GRPs, thanks to the launch of the fifth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Zee continued its 190 GRPs from last week.

Sab gained 3 GRPs as it reached 127.

Imagine was on 71, while Sahara One matched Star One's 36 GRPs.

Oops, ZEE fell down to 4th spot?? Even before KBC got launched, it brought SONY up!?? 😲 Imagine the kind of ratings KBC must have garnered? So did ZEE benefit from the Mahasangam of its top shows? Because since it was 15th Aug, people would have been home and would be more interested in watching the KBC first episode.

With Colors' new show in 9.30 getting good TRP's in its very first week...it seems to have surpassed ZEE's 9.30 show.

Well, ZEE should start understanding the tactics and try to promote every show equally. Atleast now they should use their trump cards. Colors did an outstanding job...by first promoting SSK in a huge way, even if the show didn't have an original story to back itself or a popular couple, because ZEE wasn't interested in CB! Colors people knew that this spot would be their easiest target! They put in all efforts to promote the show...also made the screenplay good with interesting and tight moments, with emotional and logical drama thrown in...And they won, much to our frustration!!

CB had got such a huge opening in the start but fell down because of bad screenplay, thanks to ZEE's team! I don't feel like blaming the makers of the show, especially after knowing how scenes are being chopped which had been written with so much effort by the writers! ZEE was desperate to get the ratings of 4. something from CB and started butchering the script with all possible nonsense! Even now, after the M.E when people did turn in again, they had the best opportunity to hold the audience's attention by showing emotional outbursts of the characters after such huge revelations came out...but ofcourse, their scripts were fizzed out and so did the audience's interest and the ratings dropped badly!

ZEE should also now start paying, atleast now, to CB and try to keep the scenes of leads and should show everyone's aspect properly. If people can't understand a character, because the character keeps changing every day then how would people come in to watch? How will people get attached? Can't they understand basic rules? Hope they understand it and should stop interfering in the plots and editing. Should let the makers and writers do their job efficiently!

it is only promoting top shows and has unfair treatment to CB. Hoping that soon it will regain #3 and soon #2
