| KARAN V GROVER What was the most shocking news you have come across in recent times? The shocking news for me was to read about the new law that the legal age limit for drinking is 25 which is quite ridiculous. We can vote at the age of 18 and marry at the age of 21 but can't drink. Which civic issue needs immediate attention? I feel the drainage system of Mumbai should be improved. Plus nowadays we find potholes instead of roads. I also feel other social issues like underprivileged kids, female infanticide to need attention. Which current political leader has the charisma to lead India in the future? It wouldn't want to name any political leader but I feel that there should be at least one leader who can lead India in the right manner. It felt great when youth of India supported Anna Hazare's anti-corruption drive. What do you feel regarding the under development of our country? I don't see any under development in our country. We are well advanced in every field. I just want to eradicate & scandal which will help us towards development. And is you talk about developed country – look at London burning right now. Where would you ideally like to see India in the next 10 years? I feel in next 10 years India will become a superpower and will be giving tough fight to other nations who consider themselves as superpower. Do you think it's achievable given the current state of affairs? Yes, it is achievable and not 10 years but in 20 years we will be winner. Do you think the current generation is taking Independence for granted? No. I think nowadays the youth is very outspoken and the press is liberal too but the generation is responsible too. What would be the one advice you would like to give the politicians of our country? I am not the right person to give advice but I would like to request them to give their best in the progress of nation and not fight among themselves.
