I don't think that's what the message is from the CVs. I think what they're trying to convey is that hiding their love is just making the situation worse. Parents trust their children and love them unconditionally but when their very own children break their trust, obviously they're going to react with anger, frustration and most of all with sadness because their own children didn't trust them enough to tell them that they love someone.
Of course, Navya's circumstances can be understood because in her house (and almost in every other ordinary Indian-cultured and valued house), it is NOT permitted for a girl and boy to be together in a romantic relationship because of societal norms, regulations, culture etc etc. However, no one has control over what they feel! You can't instruct your heart NOT to fall in love. It's upto destiny. So keeping in mind that your feelings are right but you don't want to break your house rules, Navya decides to hide the truth.
So both POVs are correct in their own way. However this generation gap that the CVs are trying to show is only to build a bridge later on. Renuka who is in the middle of her mother and sister can build that bridge because she understands both POVs. I'm surprised, Renu isn't doing MUCH to help. She's mostly consoling Navya and Meeta but she's not doing anything to build that bridge or help out Anant and Navya. But again, she can't go against her mother, so I guess we have more in store to watch!
As far as the decision to send Navya away is concerned, as a mother it is totally legit to keep your daughter away from someone you don't trust, you don't know and someone who is capable of making your very own daughter lie to you. But on the other hand, it is quite unfair on Navya because legally she is allowed to take decisions herself. She is above 18 and has the right to do whatever she wants! Even Meeta realises that, that's why she said to Renu on the phone that Navya isn't a child that she can treat her like that! But again, as Indians we are more closely knit to our families, customs, culture etc. and so age doesn't make a difference. If someone in your family is older than you, you HAVE to listen to them, respect their decision and follow it. No matter if you're 18, 35 or 55. You have to listen to your mother! So I guess we will be seeing Navya go away...for sometime.
Since this is a 'Nayi Soch' show, I think Meeta will try to know Anant without letting anyone else know. She will use her own motherly instincts to know Anant and finally will realise that Anant and Navya are a perfect match for each other. Though, she might protest on the fact that Anant and Navya date and so might want to get them married ASAP in a way that no one knows that Anant and Navya are having a love marriage. But CVs will come up with twists and turns.
This was all Navya's family side drama. We have the Bajpai's in store. I can't even imagine how bad it'll be if anyone even gets a HINT that Anant is seeing someone. God save Anant from his Baba and Papa and Bua Dadi. *fingers crossed*
