I was with you 100% since yesterday when the news did come out! First of all a note to all: why don't we all, as responsible geetians, maneetians actually try to confirm the news, wait a day or two to see how far the fidelity of the news goes and what the outcome is, before jumping to conclusions? When I read the news yesterday, I had absolutely no energy or mood to react. I just knew it was a rumor. And the moment someone from PH or someone from Geet team confirmed it wasn't, I would have reacted, STRONGLY! Because its the stupidest most lackluster track ever if they go the ghisa pita route. All I did, was laughed it off. Wrote a joke about it. Took it easy. Why waste precious energy over something totally random that came from only single source, and that too a news reporting site. Not even the channel or PH... toh why would we go on believing it in the first place, let alone being desperate enough to accept the track just outta fear that if we didn't then geet would end??? I think us as genuine, dedicated and mature GHSP lovers have a responsibility towards our show, and that means being reasonable about any news we hear before overreacting.

very well chosen comparisons charlie. There have been other reincarnation stories in tellyworld but these were not only few of the early ones but also ones that turned into disasters because they were brought in outta desperation. I can name a few more but I must say none of them had the same effect after RI as they had before. they seemed to go on to become drags atleast the ones I watched. RI is risky business and channel and PH would be silly to take on that kind of risk. It would almost be better to start GEET-2 rather than give them punar janam. Though I think RI stories are so dreamy like I loved movies like Milan (Old wala) and Hamesha, I think making a daily drama outta it just kills the entire essence of it. especially only due to lack of creativity and absence of ideas for any other story line. So if this happens, I will not at all like the track!

OMG Charlie DITTO! I thought that track had soo much scope and I thought it got over too soon!!! 3 weeks? that's record breaking!

AND A BIG DITTO AGAIN!!!! I remember back in feb when the maan ML news came out. It was same type of poisonous outbreak!!! Some were like the biggest advocates of ML and others thought it was the stupidest thing and would lose the inherent flavor of what makes maneet. Whatever the reasons there were, when ML did NOT materialize then, I was pretty sure we would never see an ML track on Geet again. well sure enough, I was wrong. BUT, it has been handled well, The feel has been beautiful, and some of the scenes like the geet drunk scene have been so beautifully crafted that it brought back the old feel altogether. So once again, it was about how the whole package was presented. And they did really well. I really think this track has so much scope and needs to be explored further. Mr. India JaduGrr's thread and his questionnaire was the biggest proof to me that there is no such a thing like RI track that will materialize on GEET. His questions mostly focused on the current track and its potential future. I still have so many hopes in this track!!!!

This must be the most discouraging and demotivating thing to the team na? I work in corporate world. My projects don't make impacts on people all over the world, I just have a selected few set of customers. But when the bosses, and customers don't appreciate work, or heck even if they do, but they pester our team on how the work should be done and keep asking why this and why that, it is the most demoralizing and disturbing scenario. No matter where you go, that's the case. When someone is always dancing over your head, the productivity and the creativity goes down. Efficiency falters. So it would be good if we took a step back, and let the team breathe!

I have no qualms about telling you this. Geet was on when the maid was cleaning in my mom's house and you know what she said "I have better salwar suits than Geet" 😳 ...yeah that was the maid

Look we have been discussing that maybe you do not have enough money and that may be the reason for not changing her wardrobe and you just accepted that it is totally true and that you are bankrupt. 😆 😆 😆

So we have also been thinking of running a clothes donation drive so that we can donate clothing to Geet. Maybe we could call the media in and make an event of it telling them that since the PH could not afford a wardrobe, the fans are pitching in. It will be truly newsworthy. 😉 🤣...just like the photo of your stars that appeared for supporting an animals organization recently. 😉
