Today's episode was actually good all around! The Giga Kaka scene was shot on the usual standards we expect from this show. Was this his suicide attempt?? I think the article got a lot of things mixed up because Giga Kaka suffered from low BP!

But the heart yearns for Gulaal-Kesar...just like they yearn for each other. Gulaal being the typical bharatiya naari was waiting for her pati dev and when her praan naath came, she was happy! Kesar came on his bicycle! What a cute image 😳 But will he seriously travel to the city by cycle everyday??

Gulaal tries to get the chula going and Kesar thinks she's actually crying 🤣 Who said Gulaal is depressed? Woh toh khush hai! She's still having those cute nok-jhoks with him. A very touching and simple moment came when Gulaal rubbed his back while he began his cough attack. Even that much amount of care means everything to him. We get a small hint of awkwardness between the two! They both SO know that they can live like this for the rest of their lives...together! Gulaal instructs Kesar to sit far away (like he did yesterday) as he's distracting her but your heart breaks when you see him still looking on at Gulaal. The scene ends with the words 'Jal gaya'! How does their heart not burn being so close yet so far?

Last 2 mins were given to GK (Thank the Lord for small mercies!). Gulaal brought one plate for her husband because there was only that one plate left and Kesar without thinking tells her that she's taking this pati thing seriously. Hmmm bacha...that's because she does look at you as her husbaaand! 😳 The precap further justifies this! She now gives him the right to know everything...! The right which she once claimed only belonged to Vasant... :)

I'll miss them so much :( Don't know if it's the dramaqueen in me today but after the episode finished I got a tad emotional!

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of GK we got today...I thought the whole thing would go in the Raman-Giga-Kulli drama only but thank god for small mercies indeed.

And yes, the Raman-Giga confrontation was excellent and up to the usual standards of this show...impressive stuff and the actor did a great job...so yes it does seem that the article got one thing wrong...makes you wonder about the overall validity then.

Kesar on the cycle...LOLL😆...but sweet bit...the way Gulaal was being all wifey as she waited for him by pacing back and forth on the porch.

The coughing scene and the eyelock...again nicely and subtly done...even though there was some nok-jhonk in the scene before that...in this actual eyelock bit, I got a sense of fatigue coming from Gulaal...like she was just very very tired...the concern for Kesar was automatic in a sense...even as her tone held censure and sarcasm at his claims that he can do any work.

The last bit...LOL Kesar got a little too happy about the pati thing and Gulaal cut him down to size again...

Anyways, my fav. bit of the epi is the precap...I have big hopes from that scene now...cuz it looks like Gulaal will tell him everything...I loved her line about how she wants to tell him everything that she hasn't told anyone else before this...and the way they tied up the haq line...from the last time she told him he has no haq to now her GIVING him that haq...this is huge.

They've done a beautiful job of showing this gradual evolution of FAITH...not to say that Gulaal didn't believe or have faith in Kesar before this but this is faith of another level now...this is the faith a wife has in her husband...that he will be there for her, he will take care of her, that she can depend on him, trust him in every which way possible...the precap is a huge milestone in TRUST, FAITH...that Gulaal is FINALLY going to share something with him that she hasn't with anyone else...she is showing faith in him implicitly at last.

Okay copy paste from the day old thread - I post it there while there was no new thread for today: n

Did you watch today yet?! I need to watch it all again to actually write a proper post and not just gush 😆

I personally loved the Giga showdown (if there wasn't all the GK stuff in the second half, it would have been my favorite part of the episode) Raman's tears are probably of a weak person - somebody who is plain spineless. His regret - unlike Dushyant's - even if it is near honest for this moment has no power of reform... Anyway, Giga was brilliant and thank heavens he gave JK all that right left center. The presence of (if not solely) and then mostly excellent actors really made that scene worth watching - dare I say much better than the GK confronting before leaving the house?!

And of course, the GK scenes themself had so much underlying meaning and progress - but they deserve a separate post today - so I'll leave it at that 😆 Not without saying, oh they were so so good!

Overall - I'm happy with today, after 4 days of some nice GK teasers but mostly half baked scenes and sequences...

I too would love for GK to get some memorable moments. And even though the Giga matter seems like it might pave the way for packing off Kesar back home - but after today I want to believe again, what Reemz said yesterday - the CVs have a plan. No disagreeing with their slack in the last week and a half or a so - but the slack, as we all admit, is when compared to the usual high standard of the show... and while it is disappointing to get those kind of episodes which just flare into redundancy and melodrama - today was like a reminder that this show is brilliant, beneath it all! If the CVs have a plan - I just want to watch what it is about. I know GK will be brilliant, this way or that. And Monday precap certainly looks very promising.

BTW - it struck me today, that the making of Kunal's character is somewhat like Vasant - only more contemporary. The difference between Talli and Gulaal is what makes Kesar a better partner for Gulaal, even though Vasant loved her with all his heart too. She's far more convoluted a person - than Talli - and Kesar and his complications just match up! Anyway - the whole Kulli drama is still... a space eater... but I suppose there's no getting rid of them really!

*edit*

From the EDT too, for now -

I actually liked the episode overall too! Every GK scene breaks my heart now. Do I want more of them? HELL YES! But we have to live with waht we get.

I ditto that. Today was good. GK were great - there was a lot of subtle progress to them, and it wasn't just about scenes thrown in to make us happy... the sequence, and dialogs were very intelligently arranged.

I really liked the Giga showdown. Like really. I groaned when the scene opened at Kunnu's Baa, but by the time the first break was up - despite no GK - I was already liking that family showdown over Raman. Giga was pretty good - and JK had that coming oh so long. Dushyant finally get's some clarification - and the over all presence of mostly good or brilliant actors made that scene pretty neat. Not to mention the absence of Pathetic Baa.

Reemz - I want to echo what you said yesterday. After today, I'm again in team believe. The CVs have a plan, and I for one want to watch it unfold. Even if it involves GK separation briefly.

I really didnt like today's episode except the bits of gulsar moments. I think it was pretty good and well executed by them. I guess i dont even need to say this. They are always that good. But i expect alot now adays in terms of their scenes only, as this serial will attain soon. Its seriously not fair to us as viewers to let their secnes cut short everytime. Anyways, the scene where gulaal waited for kesar was soo nice. It almost feel like how a wife waits for her husband eagerly to see his face jald se jald! And it was hilarious how he came on the bicycle, very typical village boy! I was thinking atleast he should gotten his bike na, wont that be cool?Embarrassed
Their scene in the kitchen was fantastic and it was sweet. Today i just metioned how their scene should be sweet with a little long eye lock and Walla! we have it here. I was actually happy! Oh this kesar's romatic nazren says everything all the time😍 he doesnt have to say much to express his feelings. Similarly like his last scene with gullu was very expressful. The way he said that she is taking this pati thing seriosuly was well done by him. Such a gorgeous couple they are!
Precap looks great to me but i still hope cv's dont let us down like today's episode.

They closed the Raman loop today which is good but unfortunately began another Kulli angle -__-

The precap looks very promising.! I'm happy that now they are at a stage where they can share everything and anything with each other.

Faith is the most biggest thing ever, and its always substained in KG's relation esp for Kesar over the years, its wavered abit, but never ever broke
And today like Nur said, its faith
Also as you say Reemz their scenes, does make you ache, and then the added effect is the piyu maari touch to it
Its good that Gulaal can open up to him abit now, and confide in him, for her sake as well, and his - to share and talk about it and so on, sometimes talking about it will help esp with the person you trust the most and value, and here after everything Kesar is beside her and so on, hasnt forced her to open up but just hold her if she falls and be there for her

No Not!PaanBha. 👏

I liked the episode. The Giga questioning and breakdown was the most charged part of the episode.

I love that showdown and showing the consequences. And I may differ than most. Granted that there's only a little bit of time left, but all the MB Giga scenes were absolutely needed. I watch the show for Gulaal and Kesar, yes. But I also watch for the overall interactions and characterizations overall. It's one of the things that attracted me to this serial after Gulaal Kesar, cinematography, etc.

The last few days were a bit off, yes. But I blame Not!Paanbha for that.

They needed these scenes. They needed to show Giga's reaction and breakdown. Or else the story would be left incomplete. If they didn't show his quasi suicide attempt, and the later scene of his family around his bedside, this wouldn't be the show I love. It gives thought to the whole story and characters for the most part. And I have faith that that the CVs will close out Gulaal Kesar in a deserving way.
