DE-STRESS MANTRA Massages make your mind, body and soul lighter Television actor Karan Mehra on ways to unwind MY PERSONAL DE-STRESS MANTRA IS... Getting massages.I think since the time I have started acting on TV,massages have become my personal destress mantra. There is so much pressure and at times it becomes too much to handle,so a massage relaxes you and makes your mind, body and soul lighter. IN MY LEISURE TIME... Well,I dont get any leisure time as such given the hectic shooing schedules. If at all by mistake I have some leisure time on hand, then I like to spent that time with my girlfriend Nisha Rawal. We go for a movie, for a drive,go out for dinner, the main thing is to spend quality time with each other. A COOK OR A FOODIE... A foodie any day! Since childhood I have been brought up in such an atmosphere where in I have tried and tasted various cuisines.I dont cook as such, very rarely but I dont even mind cooking.Well,my speciality is aloo ki sabzi that I used to cook when I was a bachelor and used to stay with friends.I used to cook it in a different way and it would be really spicy and all of them used to love it. MY HOBBIES ARE... Swimming, gymming and sketching.Because of hectic shooing schedules,I cant pursue any of these hobbies now.I dont get the time to go to the gym either.I used to sketch a lot,my entire house is like an art gallery with portraits, paintings, etc. HOMEBODY OR PARTY ANIMAL... I am not a party animal.I very rarely go for parties.I would prefer chilling at home with my family and Nisha.I am a homebody who enjoys life. TIPS TO DE-STRESS ... It would be reading books, listening to music, exercising, watching movies, going out with friends, painting, cooking, writing, etc.everyone has different tastes.Pursuing hobbies gives one happiness and refreshes the mind.I think relaxing and de-stressing too is as important as your career and success. That is because de-stressing helps rejuvenate your saturated and stressed mind and you can work much more efficiently after a small break.
