Yes i am sure that there was an accident at Park Road that involved Jai, Roshni and Bani.

Since Kiran Singhania would have hurt badly Jai would have bought a house for Kiran,Nishikant and the kids as Kiran would have wanted to get away from the city. That is the reason why Jai does not have much regard for Nishikant. This could also be the reason why Jai wanted to demolish the house at Mt Abu because it brought back too many unpleasant memories.

hmm didnt in one of the episode pia said that their mom died because she was sick and her father didnt have money, that's the time when Jai's friend propse to Bani and pia accept the proposal.

I have an idea as well.

I think that one night/day, Jai and Roshni were driving along Park Road when they hit a woman, who turned out to be Bani's mother.

But wait, there's a catch. Bani is not at all related to Kiran Singhania or Nishikant Dixit. Bani's mom was some other woman.

So, Kiran and her husband adopted Bani as they had no children of their own.

Jai could not live with the guilt of killing a woman, maybe since because he did not have to atone for his sin since ROshni or her father might have covered up the issue by giving lots of money. 😛

So... Maybe Kiran was Roshni and Jai's friend or something. hehehe.. Just a thought.
