MB is shifted from 9:30 pm slot to 11:00 pm ...Such a brilliant show ..such a bad condition ..as it may end soon ..(hope it is rumors) .But what are the reasons for this do u all think ?
ill treatment from COLORS or taste of Audience ... As MB is a classy show than a mass show ...

I feel audience never liked a show which is not a saas bahu crap . ..so It is audience who is to be blamed ,.
(My opinion) What is yours ?>>

Partly agree.. but its stupid for smart people with MBAs to expect a rural janta.. without exclusive sensibilities to appreciate IMV.. the urbane metropolis youth will.. and even in that a section (read young girls) will always go for rom-coms.. the whole deal abt strategizing is.. first chalking out who you are catering to.. aka target audience

one stark feature is MB has brought the MEN back in front of tv.. heck my dad scans thro it.. someone who has NOT seen anything but news as far as I remember.. the show started with its deep business flavor.. obv the task was cut out.. the makers were clear who they were targeting.. so what has changed now.. they overestimated their target.. so they wanna just play blame game.. and resort to extreme strategies at the cost of losing the USP of MB.. why shld I watch MB if it were any other show with traingles and domestic politics..

and its not like MB gathers the least TRPs for Colors.. Saas leela show has half or less of MBs figures.. in spite of running for lesser time.. so why the excessive need to be harsh on MB.. oh wait coz it DARED TO BE DIFFERENT..

If MBs sensibilities bow down to the Ekta Kapoors and the other cliches.. it will only re-inforce that there is no room for ppl like us with sensibilities to remotely find entertainment on tv.. Had MB been made in the 90s it wld be a huge success.. coz back then TV was in selected few homes.. and cultured/ educated (educated is an abused term now.. still using it) ppl watched it.. and the shows catered to that class.. but just coz the audience is wide now.. doesn't mean the once upon a time only audience are made into a minority and not even taken into a consideration.. what a sad state of affairs..

Wid India being such a vast country, I'm sure der wuld be suffecient no. of pp watching MB...infact many ppl I know who don't watch soaps generally, r just watching MB, including myself...so I don't think it's the ppl who r 2 be blamed. Whn u hv such a wide spectrum of shows on so many different channels den u can afford an MB too. I think d channel is 2 be blamed. Even b4 I've seen posts saying dat MB isn't properly promoted.
Also yeah maybe most of d shows r d typical saas-bahu shows, but I think der r a variety of truely different nd well made shows, like Krishnaben on Sony dat r being well received by ppl. For watever reason d channel isn't giving MB d proper attention nd r making ridiculous claims abt d lead not working etc. I think it's just their way 2 finally justify easing d show out!

yes, the show is not being promoted well to the audiences, as i hav never seen the repeat telecast of mukti bhandhan during afternoon whereas there r many shows whose repeat comes twice and thrice ...the colors channel is giving preference to their older shows and always shows their repeat everytime..this is not fair

yes MB would be well received in the nineties . Shows has STORIES then . Definete Stories . Now they have TRACKS . TRP race has spoilt the quality .

They have lost track of the viewership that was there and still IS .

nowadays its very hard to find story in serials.

as said in above post, serials concern are on track than story.
once the current track finish they will introduce another one and it goes on...

when serial ends you wil find no story in it. only characters are left.
it contains no story sketch.
