Marriage can wait
Bollywood seems to be surviving on hoax marriages these days. After marrying off Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapoor a few days ago, rumour mills now can't get enough of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's imaginary wedding plans. While on the one hand her wedding trousseau seems to be nearly finalised, Kareena continues to remain baffled at the supposed developments in her personal life.
"I don't know what triggered off these rumours," says a close friend of the actress. But a few days back Kareena had made a comment on an ethnic Ritu Kumar lehenga, which she owns. "She had casually mentioned that she would want to wear something similar on her wedding day and that eventually got blown out of proportion," adds her friend. Kareena's close associates assure that marriage is certainly not on cards anytime soon. "She is just too busy to make wedding plans right now. And anyone who knows her well will vouch for her lavish tastes. If she were to get married, she would in full nawabi splendour," the friend says.
And as far as her wedding outfit is concerned, one can't forget her close association with designer Manish Malhotra, who had designed her sister's Karisma's trousseau. "She'd want him to design for her as well, she adores him and will maintain her loyalty, come what may," the friend adds. As of now back-to-back shooting schedules will keep Bebo busy for another year. "The wedding will be announced only when a date is set. Right now both Saif and Kareena are neck deep in work.

Kareena's engagement in 2012?
Actor Kareena Kapoor is getting engaged in the last week of February next year, which will be followed by a wedding in October, sources close to her reveal. The venue for both the engagement and the wedding will be the princely palace in Bhopal.
"Bebo (fondly called by her friends) and Saif are getting married by the end of 2012. The engagement date has also been chalked outaround Valentine's Day. Bebo is looking forward to the engagement," says a source close to the actor.
Kareena is keen that the three Khans ' Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman ' attend her marriage and has apparently already informe them about her plans.
The couple have been talking about getting married for quite sometime now, but haven't really made a formal announcement. "The engagement is also going to be a big celebration. The family members are already talking to their friends to block their dates for the occasion. She wants all her friends to be there at the wedding," the source adds.
The invitation cards for the engagement ceremony will be distributed in December, but they are still deciding about making a mention of the wedding date in it.
"Kareena is rushing against time to complete all her film committments. By the middle of next year, they will both be comfortable in their work space as Saif's own production (also starring Kareena) Agent Vinod will also get released by that time. Saif and Bebo will take fifteen days off both for marriage, and about 10 days for the engagement," the source adds. The honeymoon destination is Bebo's favourite spot 'Switzerland or Italy.
