Aamir Khan.. perfection in Fanaa

That superstar Aamir Khan is a perfectionist is known to all. He does few films but tries to attain perfection in all those films and Fanaa is no exception.

Reports are that Fanaa too has been at the receiving end of Aamir's creative inputs.

Aamir this time too wanted to give his suggestions and insisted on seeing a screening of the edited version of the film.

The reports quote a source from the Yashraj Films camp as saying, "Aamir Khan wanted to be present when the editing was being done, but unfortunately for him Aditya Chopra is very stern about not allowing anyone to have a say in the editing, not even the director, so Aamir had to just keep his suggestions to himself this time round."

But a persistent Aamir still insisted on seeing the final draft and this time round Aditya relented.

Aamir watched the final draft along with the film's director Kunal Kohli , but right through he kept telling the director what should have been done.

Aditya too was present for the screening. Unfortunately for Aamir, this time too Aditya did not take his advice seriously.

Aditya stuck to the original work, but as a token to Aamir sanctioned the re-shoot of a particular song.

Kohli added, "After the screening, Aamir, Aditya and I, all sat together and discussed a few things. Everybody wants changes, Adi still wants changes, Aamir has suggestions, but at the end of the day it is my vision as a director that has been taken into account."

However Kohli confirmed that a particular song was re-shot.

He said, "Yes we did re-shoot a particular song, picturised on Aamir and Kajol but that was because the original shot had a technical problem."

Kohli refused to acknowledge that the song was re-done as Aamir suggested it should be re-shot.

However Aditya did manage to keep the rest of the film the same, without much interference from Aamir.

Fanaa will have Aamir and Kajol as a pair for the first time.
