A new 'I m Virani'

As reported, the show changes time slots, making way for the upcoming show Parichay. It moves to the late night slot of the channel, starting this week. Even before this development could sink in, yet another development is in store for the viewers. Buzz is that the show's protagonist Shiv Subramaniyam is soon going to be replaced. Apparently, the channel has actors like Ashutosh Rana and Chetan Pandit in mind.
The latter, a popular TV actor was also seen in Prakash Jha's Rajneeti. Informs our source, "Apparently, the makers feel that Subramaniyam isn't able to pull off the character. It's a strong role and he hasn't been able to do full justice to it. It maybe too late in the day but the makers want him replaced. The hunt for a suitable replacement is on." When contacted, Subramaniyam said, "I too have heard these rumours but nothing has been conveyed to me by the production house."
Ashutosh Rana confirmed that he has been approached for the same. Watch this space for more.
