A new 'I m Virani'

Rumour has it that actor Shiv Subramaniyamwho plays the central character of I M Virani in a TV soap, is soon going to be replaced

Mukti Bandhan, a show that showed a lot of promise initially, didn't get a favourable response from the viewers. As reported, the show changes time slots, making way for the upcoming show Parichay. It moves to the late night slot of the channel, starting this week. Even before this development could sink in, yet another development is in store for the viewers. Buzz is that the show's protagonist Shiv Subramaniyam is soon going to be replaced. Apparently, the channel has actors like Ashutosh Rana and Chetan Pandit in mind.

The latter, a popular TV actor was also seen in Prakash Jha's Rajneeti. Informs our source, "Apparently, the makers feel that Subramaniyam isn't able to pull off the character. It's a strong role and he hasn't been able to do full justice to it. It maybe too late in the day but the makers want him replaced. The hunt for a suitable replacement is on." When contacted, Subramaniyam said, "I too have heard these rumours but nothing has been conveyed to me by the production house."

Ashutosh Rana confirmed that he has been approached for the same. Watch this space for more.

Are they freaking INSANE...😡 seriously.. if this thoosoed Sabina track.. the random JN track is not working.. they now think Shiv is the problem..

MAKERS if you reading it... the problem is that there is LESS of IMV these days.. the problem is that actors playing Nirali are the ones that need replacement if she has a big role.. the problem is that actors like Deepti Naval have gone missing

And the BIGGEST PROBLEM is that now you guys are seemign to run behind TRPs when initially this was made as an odd ball show.. Shiv is doing a good job as IMV.. and no I dont think Ashutosh Rana can replace him.. coz the persona that Shiv has is unmatched.. besides Ashutosh could bring this unnecessary element of negative aura that is connected with his playing unmatched evil roles in movies and shows and threaten the human element of IMV

I as an audience can stand butchering of each and every character but NOT IMVs and that entails replacing Shiv too... we ADORE HIM as IMV.. his subtle expressions are UNPARALLELED for this role

Paaji I need that navratan tel now.. Kools whr art thou.. ughhh.. seriously the nerves on these channel ppl to insinuate the lack of viewership on Shiv.. might as well make this show some OTT drama.. its extremely JUVENILE to expect the common tv viewing audience of India to relate to the subtle portrayal of IMV.. and the layers in him without branding him..

Gosh m just really angry right now.. i swear if there were an options btw killing VV and butchering IMV I would go for the first anyday.. they really do want to get a MORE EXPRESSIVE IMV.. head desk

FYI... for those who can't associate the name Chetan Pandit to a face😆 just like me.. here goes.. he played Ranbir's father in Rajneeti and had instrumental roles in Gangaajal.. basically a Prakash Jha fave.. at least he is tall and can remotely carry the aura of a tycoon (although the tht of replacing Shiv is still giving me the creeps.. shudders) but I have never seen this guy in a heavy role like IMVs

Waddaaa ... they've lost it! They realize he's not playing the character well after 8 freakin months? Wow, slow or what. If TRPs are what they're after, doesn't take a genius to figure out..change the lead and down goes the show's popularity.The few people that do watch the show, love it as is. No matter how good these actors are, they can't play IMV the way Shiv has ... why the change? I don't get it. If its some actor-production house issue, resolve it people, if you can't, just end the show gracefully. Much better than changing n ruining everything! Blahhh.

Exactly.. I mean in 8 months.. people have gotten used to.. let alone tht.. loved Shiv's portrayal.. anyone I talk to who DOES WATCH MB loves Shiv.. what has NOT WATCHING mb gotta do with the lead.. and throwing a new actor in such a pivotal role is not just unfair on both set of actors but for the audience too.. its gonna be heart breaking to see someone else instead of Shiv.. only a day after we were raving about him.. making his avis and 🤣 at his subtle expressions.. gosh makes me believe I should really not get attached to any actor on the idiot box.. the face of the character is as imp as its characterization.. the persona bears the essence.. and Shiv=IMV..

UGHHH😡.. the same old SOURCE hearsay continues.. I hope w/e it is.. is resolved amicably and doesn't cost the show.. Shiv's replacement would cost it like nothing else

its freaking 8 months viewers r used to shiv as imv, and shiv is a class actoryaar

what do they want imv screeching shouting , what will the new actor do

replacing a lead can be suicidal idiots,😡 even in past whenever a lead has been replaced , show has gone down ,

we will not be able to connect with new imv like shiv

imv is not a character like nnirali or dali for which a character can be replaced

really shiv is being blamed for absymal trps

u have already started ruining a very good show by bringing illogical twists and sabina

now pls dont ruin some good things which r left

I was really angry when I read this.. like my brain was gonna explode with rage angry.. but now m just upset... already watching old epis.. n trying to see whr Shiv did not do justice.. he has style.. a rare sense of dignity and class with which he plays the character.. he isn't OTT.. very underplayed.. suits the aura and age of IMV.. he in fact is one of the better actors in the show.. including surbhi and esha... why him why.. pehle Nirali change.. then jimmy change... then dalichand change.. then time slot change.. and now IMV change.. kya laga rakha hain...why don't they see what their whole criteria for the show is.. before laying off the actors and crew for lame reasons..

i noticed a new script head Rahool Bose in d credits after the CP phase and end of picnic phase.. m sure the Sabina entry was his grand NEW idea too.. ughhh in fact we want the OLD ESSENCE back.. not the NEW CHANGES.. give us CP back.. IMV-CP played by shiv and Deepti are beyond their evaluation dude.. they are assets to this show... stop being pig-headed and obstinate.. and see where the problem lies..

Dont drag the show for yrs.. give it a decent and respectable end in few months.. but don't compromise on the quality of the show.. we are more protective about it.. than apparently the channel and PH😡
